Did anyone see the woman from Afghanistan run in the 100m (could've been 200m) race? She is the first woman from Afghanistan to ever compete in an Olympics after the country was removed from the IOC for not allowing women to competeand reinstated back as they are now letting women compete.
She came last in her race, dismally last actually, but you could see in her face that she really didn't care about winning, she was there for the experience and to enjoy the moment. I wish more Olympic competitors realised that it was about more than just winning medals.
