Clues post #1  quote:

Have you seen clues in any of the books about a book that was later to come? If so, post them here! I had some but forgot them. I'll look for some and post, but meanwhile, you other people give me some clues. I am the future Detective Sherlock Holmes (I don't know if it is Professer or Detective?). I could figure out some clues.

There not exactly clues, but more like theories, and I didn't know where else to put them.

In book five, in the Department of Mysteries it says: "Harry pulled Rons arm round over his shoulder just as, so many months ago, he had pulled Dudley's." It's a strange thing to say, isn't it, when Harry must have put another persons arm round his shoulder before. It kind of suggests maybe Dudley might have something important later on. But maybe I'm reading too deep.

Also the name; the Order of the Phoenix. It might be just a name they liked, but why did they call it that? Fawkes' feather was in Voldemorts wand, and later on, though they wouldn't have known that then, in Harry's.

"It's just something Gandalf said, "Don't you lose him Samwise Gamgee", and I don't mean to."

I think Fawkes and Dumbledore are too much alike. I think they're so much alike, that maybe Dumbledore and Fawkes will die at the same time (never). But that may just be reading too far into it.
