Fantasia screams when she sings, and has too much preppy enthusiasm. I don't understand why everyone worships her like the cocky goddess she thinks she is! OR should I say he!
While she isn't my choice... her voice, and style, just aren't appealing to me... it is shocking to find people stating that they HATE someone. Especially someone that you don't even KNOW!

What I hate is the WORD hate being used indiscriminately ... and so let me say that I intensely dislike the title subject of this particular thread.
As for Fantasia, the girl can carry a tune and has had some good performances, however her voice and style of delivery don't appeal to me and I am not happy with the "hype" about her or about the questionable vote solicitation.
I must add though that I sure have a heck of a lot of admiration for ALL the young men and women who have the focus to stand up in front of MILLIONS of people and sing and know they may be humiliated by the judges.
I have extra admiration for the ones with resilience who take the heat from the judges, like Diana and Jasmine ( 16 & 17 years old respectively ) and come back again. Further ... Diana and Jasmine both suffered bouts of Tonsillitis during the run of the show.
19 year old Fantasia hasn't been ill, she hasn't had to spring back after being dissed, and she hasn't even taken any real heat from the judges.

I listen to all walks of musical style, but my preference is rock. I don't consistently listen to R&B and I've never bought an Idol cds. But I would be very interested to hear Fantasia's album. She has a presence on stage that so other contestant can even come close to...in my opinion.
