Many people did not like the change in Harry in the fifth book. He was angry, temperamental, and just not a lot of fun. While I find all of this to be natural given the circumstances, many do not.
Was Harry's anger due to the stress of Voldemort's return and lack of information, or was there something more to it? Could Harry have been channeling the anger that Voldemort felt?

wow good idea! Then again there were times when Voldmort felt extreme happiness and Harry wasn't happy at all. But it could be a combination of Stress and that. Plus I think everyone in the whole school was just in a general bad temper with Umbridge, even Fred and George, although they took their anger out on pranks rather than yelling at friends. Plus it says that around the time of the OWLs all of the 5th years were yelling and angry, hermione yelled at people just for laughing to loud remember? Although I do agree that Voldmort's anger could have contributed quite a lot to it. Personally I don't think Harry's temper will get any better until Voldmort and Bellatrix especially are gone, because of the pain he must feel about Sirius.
that's it, Sherry, we're like the wind... we sneak in, post in threads and sneak out again... you never know where we'll strike, or how fast we'll come in... muahahahahaha... err...
but I think Voldemort's anger could contribute to his overall demeanor...

I don't know if he will learn to control it in the next book... but without learning Occlumency, I don't think that it's going to be possible. Snape and Harry need to work through their "issues" with each other, because he's the best person to teach him.

I think Dumbledore will teach him Occlumency. Snape can not get past the issues. I think that Snape may come in and help Dumbledore with the training because he is a trigger for making Harry angry.
I think he will . He stated in book 5 that he should have taught it to him. I think Dumbledore is going to step up to the plate and give Harry everything he can to help him survive.

oh i definetly think that Dumbledore will be teaching Harry, he almost hinted in the 5th book that he would do so. I find it rather ironic that as good as snape is at occlumency, he couldnt get over his feelings of hate for james potter, there must have been something much more than what harry saw in the pensive that went on between them, because if snape can control his emotions around Voldmort, and not get over his past with somone that is dead.. then theres something... its just odd.
Whatever James and the gang did to him is so deep, that every time Snape see's Harry (who's a dead ringer for his father) it all just comes back, time and time again. Plus, Harry's popularity doesn't help... I'm sure.
