I notice lots of appreciation for Kyan, Thom and Jai on this site, rightly so, all of the guys argreat and deserve to be appreciated. However, I would like to be the one to start an appreciation thread for 'the guy with cute looks who knows how to cook' Mr.Ted Allen. He'd be a dream husband (if he weren't Gay of course), he dresses well, is well-spoken, is as cute as pie and seems pretty smart to me AND HE CAN COOK! that would be the answer to all my prayers, he's also as funny as all hell.
So yes I'll join in and sing the praises of all the other guys and all I ask in return is that you join me in praise of Mr.Allen
of course jsut becuz ted isnt a stud like Kyan or isnt very very cute and hot like Jai he is deffenitaly (sp) there for a reason, he can cook really good, and he is funny, he just isnt always crackin jokes every second although Jai is stil my favorite and i luv him!
Yeah people-I'm glad to see some love being shown for Ted here. I mean looks-wise Kyan's my guy, but Ted's the guy I'd take to a nice restaurant with me (he'll know just what to order :tup
I agree w/ all posts here! Ted's great! He's smart, he's funny, he cooks, and I love his voice. There's a great appeal to that baritone, it sounds so strong, so steady. He also may not be hot in the sense of pretty boy or make me drool (lol), but he is good looking. He just seems like a genuinely nice guy who would go out of his way for you and is probably a great husband to Barry, and would easily be a terrific father (he just has that kind, fatherly/favorite uncle aura about him), plus he's cultured, well-educated, and can write. Ted's awesome.
My personal passion is cooking, so I really pay attention when Ted is giving his tips and recipes. He's very articulate with a great sense of humor. He melds extremely well with the rest of the Fab Five.

One of Ted's hints in the QE book-was buying wines as a present for a friend, I had never done this before, so when my friend Cath had her birthday last Thursday I bought her a bottle and she loved it-so Thanks Ted!
The other guys may have contemporary good looks, but Ted definitely has the classic, conservative handsome appeal. On top of that, he's charming, intelligent, witty, has the sexiest voice I've heard in a long time and is comfortable in his masculinity -- no fake butchness by overcompensating for being gay, and not a girlie guy. PLUS, being the only partnered member of the Fab Four, he's obviously capable of commitment.
Perfect husband material!! I'd take him in a heartbeat.
