Thank you. Although I would have liked to have known the exact relation he was, you know Grandson or great-grandson and so on and so forth, but if that is all that is said I cant really find out, I'd just have to guess.
Anyway here's another question for you, what happened to Elladan and Elrohir after the Return of the King? did they go to Valinor with their father or did they stay in Middle-Earth?
Ok another question, How is Dain Ironfoot related to Thorin Oakenshield? I know that their cousins but is Dain Thrain's nephew or Thror's nephew or whatever?
i think Thror died in Moria, and Thrain died in Dol Guldor. or vice versa... i get those 2 mixed up...one was Thorins dad, the other his grandad right?
Love is a very powerful force, especially when its formed into a coherent beam of death.
I did not know that the Encylopidia of Arda was online, I'll have a look later. Thanks for that Heather.
and for Shadow stalker:
Thror, Thorin's Grandfather, was kill by Azog the Great Goblin in Moria which led to the 100 year war of Dwarves and Orcs.
Thrain, Thorin's father, was tortured in Dol Guldor by didn't die there, he died a "Wandering witless fool" in Mirkwood, he couldn't even remember his own name he only remembered the Map to Erebor (Lonely Mountain) and the Key.
Here's another one,
Who killed Azog the Great Goblin of Moria in the war of Dwarves and Orcs?

I have been getting my facts wrong. The dwarven war with orcs was just 10 years not 100. However it is a commom mistake that people make that Thrain died n Dol Guldur but as I said he didn't.
