I believe that Zion isnt another matrix.....I just believe
But in Reloaded the Architect said "this will be the sixth time we have destroyed it (Zion), and we have become exceedingly efficient at it." and "you (Neo) will be required to select from the Matrix 23 individuals - 16 female, 7 male - to rebuild Zion."
Was the Architect lying to Neo ,so that he chooses the door that leads to the source to reinsert the code to reload the matrix, instead of saving Trinity (and "kill the entire human race")?????????????????
No he was not lying to neo, he was just explaining the process which the ONE has to follow. It is the One`s descion or rather in matrix term his choice which door to take. all the previous ones had choosen the door to the source. But this time around it was going to be differrent.
