With vb code "enhanced", it erased my words I had highlighted.

The normal mode worked right!

The easiest way is to hightlight and then use the size, font, and color boxes above to make it the way you want....

You can make it small regular and huge

You can use arial font Times Roman font , courier font and century font

and at the same time you can use whever color you want...like red, green , pink , blue , silver , and even tomato colored

When posting...the boxes above are the easiest method for me...is there another way?

When Delta uses the pull down box, it erases her words and messes everything up.

We think it is because she is in Enhanced mode. (The vb code box on top of the smiles)

There is another way, but time consuming, you type in the code yourself. But in enhanced mode, I think even that messes up.

Can you explain to her how to get out of that mode?

We have tried a little, I am not sure if she got my Private Message on it or not.

And while the enhanced mode will mess up all that stuff, it is still just a working theory. It may be a problem with her computer or something else.

I wish she had Hypersnap Dx 5, it's a program that lets you take a jpeg photo of your screen. She could take a pic of her screen and send it too us and we might be able to help better.

Wow, whidden ... speaking of geeks

There is a way besides using what INR has provided.

I usually type out the vb code. A habit developed a long time ago. I'll just do and then just paste it as I proceed though the message on which I am commenting or enhancing. If I want to change colors I can paste [color=XXXXX] and then easily change it to [color=YYYYY]. And I just type the close as I go along.

It takes me more time, but I can use it in quick reply and it also lends itself to proofing my message and eliminating [COLOR=tomato]tomato soup
as I prefer split pea

The tomato soup lobby knows I have never liked tomato soup ... except the ONE time I made it myslef from scratch ... and ... now for some reason the color tomato did not work for me

I tried typing it, and inserting via the normal mode and tomato has boycotted me

I just tried to fix the tomato color boycott. Let's see if tomato color appears in the quote of my post.

I worked ... now that was a surprise to me.
The color tomato did not appear in my original post because my explanation in the post included two "open" psuedo color codes with the [color=XXXXX] and [color=YYYYY] examples.

In my fix-it attempt, I just edited the quote and "closed" it.

Whidden, you want to 'shrink' down that screen shot you've included in here.
I really don't like scrolling side to side to read through a page.
Make it smaller, please...
