You know, every time I go back to Vegas I forget how much I freakin' love that town.
I want to hear some Vegas stories! I know, what happens in Vegas STAYS in Vegas... but share what you can. I guess we can allow Reno, Laughlin, Atlantic City or Indian Casino stories... only if they're good . But nothing is like Vegas .
My last visit was this past weekend. A last minute trip to Vegas came my way on Thursday. Free trip on an R.V. there and back with friends and co-workers, a comped stay at a one of the nicest hotels in town, and a private booth with buffet at this bar to watch the Super Bowl. Can't pass that up.
The drankin' started on the way and I was lovin' life by 2pm. We hit the strip that evening- drank, ate, casino, drank, drank, drank. By 4:30 in the AM on Saturday I was down $120 and wondering how I was going to get into the bar and watch the game. The next day I went down to the casino with my buddy about 1pm (girlfriend was getting a comped message), pulled out my last $60- payday was a few days off so I had to budget and I just paid a lot of bills, unfortunately. I dropped $40 in minutes. It was looking bad. I started to pour down the beers. Then I found my blackjack table and thus started my climb back to grace. By kickoff, I won back that $40 and $60 more. At halftime I went back and broke even. After the game, same thing. We all went back down that night and I hit the table, coming up $300. My buddy was up $500. We got comped hundreds at the restaurant. I had dozens of beers and too much Jack to remember. We had to be up and out at 7am. It was 4am when I hit the hotel. Suffice to say, I was a piece of crap Monday and most of yesterday.
Really, there was too much mayhem and drunkenness to recall. I just remember arguing with dealers, laughing with them, jawing at people on the strip, the lights, the booze. Really a great time. One of my best trips to Sin City.
for some odd reason, while the word "Ganya" was still just a thought-dropping in my head, I thought it'd only be four letters. But apparently it's five. yep.
Sorry to be off topic, but when I found out you won the platinum membership I was waiting your award speech and I just had this feeling you were laying on the floor drunk or something. Guess I was right?
I have never been to Vegas because it is on the other side of the United States and I’m under age.... damn laws... if I ever do go I will tell my drunken story
Definitely enough said. I passed through Vegas on my tour of the States. It was hot and dusty, and my dad wouldn't let me stop anywhere for sightseeing.

The buffets are awesome. The hotel pools are great too. We had time to kill our last night and there was a huge dust storm. Yuck. We have been there 4 or 5 times. Very fun.

I hope sightseeing didn't include casinos. Just messing with you, Neo.
Anyway, I haven't been to the sin city, but I would visit it someday just to listen to the operas.

I would go again and break into Sigfried and Roy's jungle paradise and play with the tigers.

As many times as I have been there, you would think that I would have seen the big shows. We did go see the Fremont Street Experience. Very cool. The overhead outdoors is a video. Like I said, food is great, I don't really gamble much, but we always get a great room, some beer, room service and kick back.
Except I would steer clear of the one that chomped on Roy's head.

Hmmm, maybe I need to work on my cuteness. Anyway, I think tigers are cute and cuddly too, except when they get angry. I don't like them when they are angry.
As for Vegas, I think I would stay clear of the casinos (as if that isn't obvious).

Yes, I agree. I would just spend all my time looking at the pretty lights. And playing with the Adi-tiger, of course.
