And, how many of us do you regret letting in the front door. Names, please.
Here are some dancing bananas to help celebrate--one for every month I've been with IR.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 (New Testament, King James version)
well INRs been around for one whole year now. Congrats! thanks to all those who keep these forums up and running. Happy Birthday, and may we see many more.
Love is a very powerful force, especially when its formed into a coherent beam of death.
We have a Happy Birthday thread going on in the Forum News and Announcements. Maybe the admins can merge the two. We would like Marc and Sean to give us the history of the site and let us know some interesting information about it.
I would love to hear about how this site got started. I love it! It's a great place for people to discuss the things that are most important to them. Happy Birthday, may you have many more.
Happy Birthday, INReview ... and special thanks to the creators for their tireless work. It shows ... and you are responsible for building a welcoming and comfortable home for so many.
Thanks too, to the mod staff who devote so much of their personal time to the interests of the members here.
Like the others who have asked, I too would like to know some background.
So far this ( paraphrased) is what's been asked by others, with a few additions from me :
1) General history, start-up and background info about INReview.
2) How did you came up with the idea to start INR ?
3) What were your initial expectations ?
4) Did you meet or exceed your expectations?
5) How did it evolve from Magazine to gathering place ?
6) How did you let people know about the site ?
7) How long did it take for people to find the site and start using it regularly?
8) Membership keeps growing ! How do you continue to make people aware of INR ?
9) Who are the "Charter" Members of INReview ... say the first 50-100 or so who joined and stayed ?
10) Love this one ... How many of us do you regret letting in the front door. Names, please.

Maybe they won't answer directly here as it is obvious that they are very busy ... but maybe someday they'll put up an extra-extra page, and then we can read all about it !
