The most resent series in the Star Trek family is Enterprise, the prequel to it all. Some think it's awesome. Others see the drastic deficiency the series sports in story, plot, detail, and support of existing shows. What do you think?
it doesn't live up to the expectation i have of what 'star trek' should be. maybe it's a little too sci-fi for my taste. not that i don't like science fiction, its just that star trek has never been about sci-fi. all that stuff is just icing on the cake. the real meat and potatoes of star trek is the story and the character dynamics. i just don't see any quality substance in 'enterprise'. true 'enterprise' fans may disagree with me but that's my take on the subject.
I think enterprise is pretty cool, it's neat to see the beginning stages of the Federation. I wish they had more stuff with the Klingons ... i thought they were the other main race we had contact with early on. Other than that i think its a solid show, it's much better than freakin' voyager.

I agree with jrkrv, except with the Voyager part. As I said in another thread, its pretty interesting to see the Vulcans have a snobbish attitude towards the humans, the early contact between the klingons and humans, the distrust humans have for new technology (like the transporter), etc., etc. All in all, I think it is a pretty good show. Now that the Xindi conflict is approaching it's climax, I think it is going to be very good.
Apart from that, yeah, for the umpteenth time, I would say that T'Pol is HOT!!!
p.s. What do you guys say I change my login to T'PolIsHot? Do you think Marc or Sean would mind doing that for me? Just kidding, I am fine with my current login.

The first two, it was boring. I made myself watch it. This season is picking up and I look forward to it.
The writing is getting better and they have more of a goal now, whereas before they were just cruising around lost, inviting alien species to breakfast on the Enterprise.
The ship itself is a neat looking design. I like that actors from Voyager and Deep Space nine are showing up on Enterprise in different alien makeup.
Way-oon (know I did'nt spell that one right), the Dominion leader that was on Deep Space nine, showed up as a Andorian on Enterprise .

Yeah, I think he is Shran. The first episode in Spring would have Shran and his ship come into the Expanse to help out Archer and Enterprise find the Xindi superweapon. I like the andorians. We never got to see much of them in the eariler series. Its going to be fun.

As a real "Old School" Star Trek fan, I'm disappointed in it. It's too slick. I liked the idea, but then they get too tied up with these complicated story lines, always needing to meet some sophisticated aliens and being in these conflicts! It's BS, I had hoped they would be more primative than the original, more dark, more stories about being on dark planets with strange situations, less Klingons and Zindis and more unusual stuff...And what about the war with the Romulans? The one where they never got to see what the other looked like because they set up the Nuetral Zone with a sub-space radio treaty? For more info on that, see my favorite episiode of all time "Balance of Terror", guest starring Mark Lenard as the Romulan Commander...he later played Spock's father Sarek-That episode would make an awesome movie. I had hoped that they could add that war to the plot line. Hey, I watch the new show sometimes, but it's the story lines, which lack a true attachment to the Pre-Kirk era of Star Trek that makes me less than enthusiastic.
