I wish I had pictures of it, but we went to Zion National Park in Utah on our Honeymoon. Very beautiful. Lush green hiking trails to waterfalls and pools, then they also have hiking trails up steep red rocks.
If you do go to Zion, you have to eat some of the local Chinese food. It is the best. It is an easy hike to Emerald pools. There is just so much to see at Zion. It is only an hour or two away from Las Vegas also.
There are so many beautiful National Parks all over the US.
There are some great ones throughout California...
One of the things that we're going to do next year... visit some of them with Heidi's mom.

I've only ever been to two of national parks: yellow stone and the Grand Canyon. Unfortunately we have no pictures of the second because when we were three hundred yards or so from our car a bad sandstorm hit and destroyed our camera.
"Man is a marvelous curiosity ... he thinks he is the Creator's pet ... he even believes the Creator loves him; has a passion for him; sits up nights to admire him; yes and watch over him and keep him out of trouble. He prays to him and thinks He listens. Isn't it a quaint idea." Mark Twain
