Letters from home bring a Survivor to tears, but one tribemate sees it as an opportunity to turn the rest of the tribe against that person.
A twist in the final stretch brings an unexpected battle for the Final Four.
Thirty-nine days ago they swam ashore on the Pearl Islands with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Darrah, Jon, Lillian and Sandra have made it this far, but only one will win. Who will be the Sole Survivor?
Hmmmmm... someone get's a letter from home. I wonder if that's the reward challenge?!?!?! What do you think? They get a letter from home?
:::>^..^<::: ~*~The Journey is more important than the end or the start~*~ :::>^..^<:::
Wouldn't it be something if it turns out to be Jon who receives a letter from home and it has something to do with his grandmother?
But that couldn't be, since Jon is the likely the "one tribemate sees it as an opportunity to turn the rest of the tribe against that person"......then again, maybe not....I can see Sandra taking advantage of the situation to convince the others to boot Jon out.
I don't know if there would need to be "convincing" to get rid of Jon.
UNLESS they are all thinking the same thing, and that would be that they stand the best chance in the final two against him. Don't know though.
I would laugh my @$$ off if Jon got a letter from Grandma... but you KNOW that it would be something that was written before. If they did that, it's something where people were contacted early on, to write something. Who knows... we shall see.
But, if it's one of the girls... Jon will use EVERY advantage to remove them, because he thinks that all women are weak and should be home, cooking and cleaning!
:::>^..^<::: ~*~The Journey is more important than the end or the start~*~ :::>^..^<:::
With the booting off of Burton( Yeah) we now have three females and little dude( I ws going to say something else) anyway Jon and Lil , Darrah, and Sandra.
The only one who has a brain is Sandra, IMO. but first things first.
I don't care what kind of bad news comes from home, it shouldn't make any difference, now should it? Jon set the premise on this, by getting the news of his Grandmother's Death .
He continued to play and used this news to take advantage of the others, especially the women.
That said, lets continue.
I think Lil is the weak link in the chain, after all she hd been fighting for her life in recent Weeks and complaining about wanting to go home. Let her.
After JON IS BOOTED OFF. Lill should be off. She is an outcast and does not belong in the final two.
That leaves SAndra, the one who all along kept warning the other stupid women about Burton. She has the strength and the brains to go all the way. Darrah is lucky in the challenges, and that poses a question. If Darrah wins immunity will she vote with the other women against Jon or hurt herself by picking Jon? She is a simple girl and either is playing the dumb Southerner ( excuse me Delta) or she is the best actress of all.
Can't answer that.
My pick is Sandra whatcha all think?

Life may not be the party I had hoped for.......
But while I'm here I might just as well listen to the music and dance..
My guess is that Lil gets the letter from home... she cries so easy right now! As far as the twist goes, is it possible that Jon's secret comes to light, and it causes him to really battle to regain the others trust in order to stay in the game?! Here is my order guess:
Jon
Lil
Darrah & Sandra as F2 with Sandra winning. I think that she has the most of her former teammates & friends on the jury!
Don't see Jon's secret coming to light, but that's only because Jeff Probst said that NO ONE finds out that truth until it was aired that night. And since it was filmed months ago, it's just not possible.
But, I would love NOTHING MORE than to have that lie exposed beforehand! That would SEAL his fate, no matter WHAT number he was. He would NOT receive a vote if they all knew the truth.
It really bothers me that Lill is a scout master, yet I've seen NO skills come from here. Man, they teach a lot in the scouts. We have a lady here at work that is an Eagle Scout Troop Leader. She knows a lot, and would be able to do things on an island. Just makes me wonder about Lill. She is really fragile, and ready to go. She's TOO whinney for my tastes!
Darrah is so damn quite. Have you noticed that she NEVER has those little "talks" with the camera's away from others? Everyone else has them. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm
:::>^..^<::: ~*~The Journey is more important than the end or the start~*~ :::>^..^<:::
I liked Sandra and Rupert from day one... both seemed to be strong and not afraid to show it. Her willingness to sabatoge the rest by hiding everything shows me that she can outwit them all! I was wondering that about Lil myself... she seems to, pardon the term, but blonde, to be in leadership. She breaks easy, and does everything she is told to do rather than breaking loose and doing things for herself. If she was a real scout master, I think she would have shown more leadership skills rather than being so passive!
I admit that I laughed last night when she said something like she couldn't believe that she has been there so far into the game... wake up lady, if it wasn't for the outcasts coming back into the game, you'd be sitting in a resort hotel hot tub right about now!
I don't think Darrah is as stupid as she makes out to be. I do't care , really. At least she has played the game well, or underplayed it quietly winning enough challenges to keep her safe. More power to her.
Lil is the poorest excuse for a Scout Master I have ever seen.
I would hate to have her heading up any scouts of mine.
There is no way Jon will win this( hope I don't have to eat these words) The Jury hates him except for Burton.
I just think Sandra is the strongest woman . She half kills herself in the challenges, trys to talk sense to the women.
Sly enough to eavesdrop on Burton and Jon and share the info, but Lil still was counting on Burton. Whats with her?
Is she just normally dumb or have the Weeks on the island just taken there toll on her?
I don't know. Just want her off. She does not belong.
Have you all watched her walking around in a daze like she is stoned on something?
Get rid of her.
\Jon first then Lil.

Yeah, she shouldn't be on there right now... that's called LUCK!
If she wins, I know that there will be a lot of unhappy people...
but then again, she would have to be up against Jon to win.
At least, I would hope so. I wouldn't vote for her over Darrah or Sandra, because they never got the boot, like her.
I thought that Sandra and Rupert were the best, and strongest players. Rupert has a willingness to survive, and make ends meet for everyone. He was a great provider and he is honest. Sandra... you just have to love her. I loved her getting in Jons face, over and over, throughout this season!
:::>^..^<::: ~*~The Journey is more important than the end or the start~*~ :::>^..^<:::
I cringed when Sandra took a header on last weeks eppy during the rc. She always gives 110%, despite not winning any of the challenges! I think both Sandra and Darrah are smart enough to get Jon out of there first, then Lil. Unless they are more sympathetic towards Darrah, being the tiny one and all, I think Sandra should have no problem taking the win in the end!
Optimally and if the outcasts had NOT returned the F4 would/should have been:
Rupert
Sandra
Christa
... and sorry
Jon
They would have booted the remaining Morgans in the team Drake mode and they would have taken Jon that far because he would be beatable in an F2.
Depending on how the IC's shook down after that, they would have booted Rupert because of his lovability or Sandra because she'd have the 2nd best chance of winning in an F2, or Christa because of her strength.
Jon would have been in the F3 and would have tried to make a deal based on his probable inability to win before the jury, to be taken to F2.
Depending on who Jon was in the F3 with and who won immunity...
Jon probably wouldn't have won immunity ... since it's an Outlast challenge and Jon doesn't last .... he finishes prematurely ( sorry ... )
But if he did
Jon would have taken Christa because some don't like her.
( Christa still would have won )
Rupert would have taken Christa ... integrity, she's his pal (Rupert would win)
Christa might have taken Rupert (Rupert would win)
or
Christa might have reluctantly taken Jon.
(Christa would win)
Sandra would have taken Jon ... she's a ruthless player.
(Sandra would win)
Enough hypotheses.

Letters from home bring a Survivor to tears, but one tribemate sees it as an opportunity to turn the rest of the tribe against that person.
Jon is the opportunist thus far. I think maybe Sandra's letter ... from her kids will make her cry and Jon will tell Lil that Sandra is a jerk who lied while swearing on her kids ? Either that or something with Darrah ... but we don't know enough about her to figure out what would encourage the opportunist. Maybe Darrah gets a letter from her boyfriend and cries and then Jon lies and says she's a phony because he and Darrah were "together" as Lil slept at the spa reward ?
A twist in the final stretch brings an unexpected battle for the Final Four.
Can't imagine what they mean by a "twist in the final stretch" ... I'll have to think about that ... but the most "unexpected battle" in a CHALLENGE would be Lil v. Jon in contention for immunity
Thirty-nine days ago they swam ashore on the Pearl Islands with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Darrah, Jon, Lillian and Sandra have made it this far, but only one will win. Who will be the Sole Survivor?
When you all were talking about "pecking order" I think you meant who you hoped would win ?
Well here's what I think WILL happen.
- In the F4 IC ... Lil or Jon will probably win immunity, but I think maybe Jon, but it doesn't matter. Sandra has to win immunity and she won't.
- Sandra, will be booted, not Lil or Jon. Why ?
= Lil is more "outlastable" in the F3 Outlast Challenge.
= Lil has already shown discomfort with booting Darrah.
= Lil and Darrah already had Sandra on the hit list before they decided to split the Nightmare Team of Jon/Burton and dump Burton first.
= Additionally, Jon will probably have poisoned them with the Child Swearing thing.
= Reaction and eye contact with the jury at the last TC just helped put Sandra on the bubble.
- The F3 will be:
Darrah, Lil and Jon.
- In the Outlast F3 Challenge Jon will not win.
- Jon will try to deal.
- Darrah & Lil will either have a pre-existing deal, or make one during the challenge ... but neither of them will HAND the 2nd prize money to Jon.
- They will not want to risk a Drake v. Morgan jury split.
- Darrah will probably win the Final Outlast Challenge and will take Lil ... but regardless, the F2 will be:
Darrah and Lil
Jury vote:
The cards are somewhat stacked againts Lil because she's a bootee ... but anyway.
RyanO = Darrah
(She's an original and he's hot for her
Rupert = Darrah
(Lil betrayed him and D has proved her mettle in the last IC's. He'll respect that.)
Tijuana = Darrah
( Original v. returning Morgan)
Christa = Darrah
( In the end she'll probably go with Rupert's choice )
Burton = Darrah
( He's pi$$ed at Lil and there is little chance he'll honor his vow that an outcast will win ... he has no honor or integrity. He's just a taller, darker Jon)
Sandra = Depends how she gets booted and who screws her worst.
Jon = Lil
( Just to be contrary
......................
In the jury address,
Darrah will talk sincerely and about respect and integrity and her strength in winning immunities to get her to the end.
As said before Darrah's vibe with the jury will be positive.
Lil will whine and talk about unfairness, blah, blah, blah.
Lil's vibe with the jury will be negative.
So ....
Darrah will be the Seventh Sole Survivor
Note that at this point it would be interesting to see a Darrah/Sandra F2 to see how a low profile under the radar player does v. a high profile aggressive player, including some intelligent jury questions and responses regarding the different styles of play.
But ... they will not risk keeping Sandra because of the F4, she is the biggest F2 threat to ANY of them.
Sorry.

Oh comeon OBAF Give me a break!
Truly I am sick of the whole season this year because of what the producers did with putting the Outcasts back on.
I really don't want to rip into your theories, I would rather wait until Sunday and then we shall see.

We all talk about the "best" players and those most "deserving" to win.
In the end
-- the best and most deserving -- love it or hate it -- are the players who end up in the final 2.
the best and most deserving -- again, love it or hate it -- is the player who ends up winning because with all the survival maneuvering on the island crapola, they still get the jury to vote for them.
I know, we agree that it just ain't fair that the Outcasts returned and one of them -- Lil -- will probably be in the Final 2.
The twist sucked and they should never do it again this way.
Howsumever ... Burton and Lil came back with auto-immunity for only ONE Tribal Council ... 3 days ... and they managed to make it to F5 and F4 respectively.
The twist was engineered to get players thinking a different way and about who would be beatable in the end, and that worked and made it more interesting. It was a mind bender for all of them.
But they rose to the occasion. The remaining originals have managed to eliminate other originals who may/may not have been threats ... but certainly would have been harder to beat in a original v. original F2. And they used the Outcasts' votes to do this. Booting Burton has now given all the remaining players their best chance, both physically and in an F2 before the jury.
As per previous, Sandra MUST win immunity to stay ... She's smart and I think she figured out that this F4 combo was her best shot, but I don't think she will win immunity and she's gone.
- Darrah is smart too and she will see that HER best chance is against Lil or Jon ... in that order. I think she will let Jon do the dirty work and go with the flow to boot Sandra.
Sandra will want/try to get Darrah booted and Sandra ALSO knows that HER best chance is against Lil or Jon in that order. Her only real arguement is that Darrah is now the proven biggest challenge threat. With Jon, she could try a ploy of loyalty to the fact that they are both Drakes as well as original players and most deserving to be in F2. If Darrah doesn't win immunity ( which I don't think she will) Sandra will vote to boot D ... with a vote for Jon if Darrah does win immunity ... the latter to atempt to leave herself as the last remaining Drake
Jon knows HIS best chance is against Lil, Darrah ... in that order, because Lil is an Outcast and D & L are both Morgans and there are or will be more Drakes than Morgans on the jury. I'm not sure if he really hates Sandra as much as he has professed or has a hateful, fearful, grudging respect for her style of play ? In any case ... he'll vote to boot Sandra
Lil won't think ... she'll let someone else do that for her, and vote to boot Sandra.
My whole point with this post is that regardless of character, in the final analysis, the "best" and most "deserving" player WILL win and the PROOF that they are the best and most deserving is ... that they WON.
True ... some of their success may seem to have been luck ... and I'll avoid the cliche's about people making their own luck ... even in games of chance ... it takes BRAINS.
Ok ... put my face on the plates and start shooting
