I guess that the boys... Burton and Jon... will be celebrating. They have it in the bad, right? Or do they?
It looked like, in the previews for next week, that the ladies are talking about joining up and getting rid of the men. And then, you see Jon, swearing on his grandmother (that rat) and pushing them to know if they've made plans!!!
This is the last Thursday night episode. Next week will end with the final four. Then, Sunday night, 12/14/03 will be the first hour, dropping to the final three... and then to the two and jury!!! And then, the winner!!!

I predict that Burton will be voted out this week as the girls will finally figure out their power. Poor Jon will be taunted by sandra that he will be the next to go and he will be powerless to stop the girls. (they won't fall for the old "I swear on my Grandmothers grave" any longer) Just a hunch I have.
I think they should do a game of "Capture the Pirate" and have Jon's Grandma be diguised as the pirate! HAHA... would love to see the curly hair on his head go straight when she was unmasked!! The lie has to come out sooner or later, hopefully sooner!

Well ... unfortunately, they've said that nobody finds out about Jon's conspiracy to lie until they watch the show, after it's all over !
I certainly hope they sieze the opportunity and invite Jon's Grandmother to appear on the Reunion Show. She may be the only one who can save Jon from bodily harm ... by using techniques she learned on Jerry Springer.
Come to think of it, Grandma may very well opt to help the others instead of Jon

Oh man.... I would LOVE to see Jon's grandma, VERY ALIVE, at the reunion!
Also... I would LOVE to find that she is BEYOND pissed at him over the lie.
I hope that she doesn't support that lie that he used... but, if she does, then I would totally understand where he get's it from!!

I heard that the liar would "regret" his decision to lie, which gave me the idea that it would be found out before the end of the game. Is it possible that he will be in the final two & the jury knows the truth?
Well, Sandra also lied, by not speaking up and allowing people to think that it was Christa that threw the fish away. So, maybe she's regretting that, because she knows that she's lost her "pal."

I think I read somewhere that the lie and the regret are not connected. The regret may be have been attributed to Osten because he quit ?
I also think the jury is sequestered and doesn't get to see the show or anything on the internet before they vote. They would be limited to what they are told by each newly arriving jury member and I suppose that could color their opinions.
For example, Christa said in an interview that she and Sandra were skeptical about the Granny Story at the time, but didn't want to be jerks by questioning it. Now if she took that skepticism with her to the jury and they discussed it, who knows ?
In any case ... I am sure Grandma will rise this week ... one way or another

OBAF... I think that I remember, from the 2nd Survivor, hearing that those who are "booted" and become the members of the jury don't leave. They are put up, somewhere nice, until they cast their votes between the final two.

Besides... it wouldn't matter IF they hadn't been. They finished filming, and the jury had already cast their final vote before the first episode ever aired. So, even had they gotten online, there would be nothing for them to find out!

I think a rc involving her would be a hoot! "Rescue the wench", and the wench is Jon's Grandma all made up! HAHA!
That WOULD be mega wickedly funny ! but you are obviously smarter than the producers and they never thought of it !
I do hope Granny shows up as a surprise guest at the reunion. I also hope that she doesn't spout tolerance of his scam ... but instead I hope that she's a feisty wench and maybe whacks his trousers off with the Immunity Sword or something

I do remember something about a previous season mess-up with the jury seeing something on the internet about the show -- but I may be confusing it with Big Brother since they have those "live feeds" ?
Also, as you say, I believe that they have the entire show including the jury's questions and votes "in the can" before they even start to edit the episodes for broadcast.
Not sure but I think tho', that the actual reading of the votes and the announcement of the Sole Survivor as well as the Reunion may be live ?
