Who watched The Simple Life last night? These girls are out of control clueless. All the more reason to watch and laugh. It is on again tonight at 8:30 so check it out!
I saw it last night, clueless yes, and borderline retarded. A few highlights:
Nicole asking if she and Paris can just have the groceries that they don't have money for. The clerk saying "No, this isn't a soup kitchen, what don't you need?". The girls start going through the bags and pulling out what's not on the grocery list while Paris comments "This is so lame."
Paris throwing the groceries into the back of the truck, (including eggs) and Nicole remarking "I can't believe he wouldn't just give them to us...what's a soup kitchen?"
Walking into the house, noticing the well;
Nicole: "What is that?"
Ms. Leding: "It's a well."
Nicole: "A real well?"
Ms. Leding: "Yes"
Paris: "What's it for?"
Ms. Leding: "It's for water."
( I mean come on...did these girls go to school or not? I thought rich kids went to the best schools! Even I know what a well is and I've never seen one!)
Nicole: "So do you guys hang out at Walmart?"
Family Laughing: "No"
Nicole: "I just always heard that people hang out at Walmart."
Paris : "What's Walmart? Do they sell stuff for walls there?"

I can't believe that they had no idea what a well was.... Don't they talk about wells in children's fairy tales??? Her nanny never read her a fairy tale??
It's not hard to figure out which Hilton child will NOT be taking an executive role in the family hotel business...
I told my boyfriend the stupid **** they say on the show and he doesn't believe it isn't scripted. Now I am starting to believe it is too. I mean, who doesn't know that stuff? Have they lived in a cave their whole lives? At least it's entertaining. Until they grow a brain cell, I am still going to watch for the laughs. Scripted or not, these girls are definitely clueless.
I just could not get over what complete selfish idiots they are. When they were filling the milk bottles, how could they contaminate them and have no remorse over it. People could get sick. Little kids could get sick. Oh, and I think Tinkerbell worked harder hanging out with the little boy than the girls did at the Dairy.
I think it's possible that their families' publicists are the ones releasing statements about their dialogue being scripted because they don't want the girls to look stupid. Even if it was scripted, why would they ever agree to make themselves appear totally incompetant if their whole purpose of doing this show is to let the world know that they're not complete idiots? I'm sure money isn't the primary factor in their agreeing to do this show...since they already have plenty of that!

These girls are entirely immature! To jeopardize people's businesses, health, and a family's reputation is completely ridiculuos. Although Paris and Nicole disgust me, I am compelled to watch the show. Perhaps because it makes me feel better about myself???? All I know is that this show proves that money means absoultely nothing... it' all in how you are raised. If I were Nicole and Paris's parents I would be humiliated. I thank God for my parents and the way I was raised after every show aired.
I think is hilarious ...these gurls are priceless...like what else can u ask for...2 really good looking gurls on a tv show making fools of themselves for our entertainment ...and cmon u cant possibly think that they are TRULY acting like themselves...im pretty sure that they are puttin on an act for ratings...i even read sumowhere that nicole richie said...sumfin like "me and paris didnt wanna wear all the designer clothes over there but the producers of the show made us...we jus wanted to be in out jeans and tee shirts...but we had to bring the fancy clothes"....sumfin like dat...im not sure if thats exactly what they said so yea...sum of what they are doin and sayin has to be for show...dont take it that seriously yall...but yea as i said b4 i think the show is really really funny...im crossin my fingers for a second season
