First, I don't know a lot about Soccer, my husband Mr. F. is the expert. My favorite player is Roberto Baggio. He has such mastery of the ball, a real grace that not many players seem to have. I just remember watching him play in WC 94 and how awesome he was.

I am sure my hubbie will have some great choices.

I have a load of fave players her are my top five.

1. Rivaldo - just a wonderful talent and wasted at Milan

2. Raul - Again great Talent and vision brilliant forward player and highest scorer in the champions league.

3. Andy Goram - probaly not as well known as the previous two but a quite simply amazing goalkeeper not the biggest or the thinnest but he was one of the best between the sticks. I remember Tommy Burns the Celtic manager saying after a Rangers v Celtic game that "you can put on my tombstone Andy Goram broke his heart" I think that sums it up.

4. Brian Laudrup one of the most skillful players I have seen.

5. Roy Keane - Do not really like the guy but I admire his determination and leadership.

MR F HERE
Here are my all time faves
1 Johan Cruyeff, not only could he do anything with the ball, he is intellegent enough to be a top notch coach.
2 Der Kaiser , Frans Beckenbauer, see above.
3 Franco Baresi . Never out of position, rock solid in the back. I was the worlds worst defender so I have always had respect for those who can do it right ,and if you want to see it done right watch the Italians
oh yeah, Pele was pretty good too
