The Battle Between Zero and One... post #1  quote:

The statement has been made, “There is no spoon”…
To understand, you need to be able to:

Define the “cataclysmic system crash” that is being avoided.
Define the aftermath of the “cataclysmic system crash”.
Define the aftermath of the “cataclysmic system crash” having been avoided.
Explain the difference.

Who is avoiding the “cataclysmic system crash”?
Why is the “cataclysmic system crash” being avoided?

How many sides are there in the struggle?

Explain the relationship between the Architect and Deus Ex Machina.
Explain the relationship between the Oracle and the Architect
Explain the relationship between Neo and the Oracle.
Explain the relationship between Deus Ex Machina and Neo.

Define the Oracle’s ‘influence’.
Define the contents of “Disc AI” (or is that ‘A1’ ?)
Define the relevance of the Dojo

Choice:
It matters not which choice is selected,
as long as the selection is made.
The left door and the right door have the same destination.
The red pill and the blue pill have the same aftermath

1 can only be converted to 0
The one must return to the source
Zero is the source of one
We have zero and one
There is no other option available:
Zero becomes one
One becomes zero

There is a choice:
Zero can remain zero-Blue
Zero can become one-Red
One can become zero-Right
One can remain one-Left

NEO: Yeah. Wow. That sounds like a real good deal.
But I think I have a better one. How about I give you the finger –

The anomaly arises, the decision is not made.

Ones are returned to the source
Or
Ones are stored in Archive Z1
That is the required choice.

The forces of 0 are compelled to convert 1 to 0
The forces of 1 are compelled to retain every 1

If the decision is not made ‘in time’: “cataclysmic system crash”.
If the decision is made ‘in time’: The next decision arises
‘In time’ equals before the next decision arises.

One must step through the looking glass to comprehend more.

Makes some twisted form of comprehension vaguely resembling sense. If you think about it. Although I'm not entirely sure what Alice in Wonderland has so much to do with it. Besides the allusions from Morpheus and the alternate reality type story. But maybe I just missed something.

I think we need an Enlglish translation of what that guy is trying to say. I doubt they will be coming back anyway. They have been away for about 4 months... Anyone want to hack at it? Hmm... this seems like a job for Rebel

Hmm... Morpheus does use the term "Rabbit Hole" in the movie and he even mentions Alice in the movie. So it would make perfect sense.

To say that if Neo chose either door the result would be the same does not make sense. The two doors lead to two very different endings. We know this because of the six previous ones. To say this also conflicts with the whole friggin movie trilogy. It says we are predestined to end up at the same point whether or not we do something. There is fate, and there is choice. The Machines say that we do not have a choice, that it is an illusion. Neo, at the end of Revolutions, proves them wrong. He does not have to fight. Nor does he have to give up. He is in his divinity, not being acted upon by any outside force. Neo could have fought Smith as long as he would have liked (that bone-crunching punch proved he could), but he chooses to die, just as he chose to fight. Choice does exist, so our actions do matter.

1 + -1 = 0

Kevin: Remember that one time when I ate those napkins?
Me: (laughing) Yeah.
Kevin: That was funny. Do you remember what made me do it?
Me: I'm pretty sure you just said, "Hey, watch me eat these napkins".
Kevin: (laughing) Yeah, that sounds about right.

We end up at the same destination no matter the choice we make. For an example, if you could go back in time and try to change the future, it wouldn't work. You would just be contributing to what already WILL happen. It may happen a different way, thanks to you, but it will happen. If you could do this, it still would not work, because for this to make sense you would end up not even existing in the first place (Since you have already experianced it happen once THAT way). I can't really put this in words well.
