I did a lot of traveling as a teenager. Our youth group would take trips each summer and go on a 3 - 4 week trip.
One summer was up California, Oregon, Washinton and into Canada. That was great.
One summer was to Oahu, Hawaii - that was a lot of fun!!!
One summer was all over the upper East Coast area.
And one summer was all over Mexico.
Other than that, I've done a lot of traveling for business and pleasure. But, there is still a lot of the US to see. And, I want, so much, to go visit other countries and add them to my list... and passport. Having Mexico on a passport isn't much, when you live ON the Mexican border.

I am not sure if I have ever been in Arkansas
Well, I really enjoy traveling and checking out new places. Due to the fact that my family moved constantly while I was a child... but I caught up to them each and every time (just foolin'). But I was born in New Orleans and shortly after that went to France as that is where my family is from, then on to Switzerland. I saw a little of Spain, Portuagal, and England. (I do not like England!)
And ever since moving back to the states, I have been through most of the states (mostly very short visits) and through Canada. I have never been to Mexico though. And I have been to a couple of cruises where I've seen several tropical locations, making me want to jump ship and stay there. I hate vacations! You always go someplace that you really like, and return to the Hellhole that you call home in the end. -K-, now I'm depressed!
I'm out!
Well I was born & raised in California. Born in a small mountain town in the Sierra Nevadas, brought down into the San Francisco bay area and spent most of my day growing up here.
I lived in West Germany for a year and a half when I was 12-13 years old (1988) while my parents were stationed there for the military. I have a small remnant piece of the Berlin Wall among my collectibles. I took one year of German class while I was there. I think Frau Meuller hated me. She smacked me once. Only in Germany, I swear. The German kids in my town (pop. 200~) chased me whenever I got off the school bus. I've since recovered from that and now have several close German friends. (Hi Steph, Ziggy & Gudren!)
I have traveled through most of the Western states, hiked, camped and survived some of the least tame wilderness these places have to offer. I have also visited other states fo family get-togethers and such. These places include:
Washington (Seattle)
Oregon (Coos Bay)
Montana (Not far from St Helena)
Nevada (Reno, Carson City and Las Vegas)
California (the entire northern half of the state down to Los Angeles, Mojave - haven't gone south from there)
Hawaii (Kauai and Oahu - Kauai is my favorite place on Earth so far!)
New York (Long Island, Manhatten, 9/11 Ground Zero)
New Jersey (stayed close to the Hudson)
Iowa (Cedar Rapids, I think - family there)
And that's it. My wife and I are planning an extended cross-country trip for the summer of 2006 where we hope to visit nearly every contiguous state in a big, long, exhausting loop. We're both big shutter-bugs, so it'll be the American Kelly Photographic Safari 2006.
We are also planning a trip to France in 2005 when I will have my first opportunity to use several years' worth of French training in high school and college on real-live French people who wouldn't be able to understand me otherwise (or so I try to convince myself, anyway).
Other places that are high on our list to visit one day include:
* Mexico (this may as well be on top since we can drive there yet still have not)
* Canada (this too)
* Alaska
* Australia
* Thailand
* Israel
* Ireland
* England
* Iceland
* Scottland
* Italy & the Vatican
* Egypt
* China
* Japan
* Brazil
* India
We plan to spend our 40+ years travelling the world and engaging in this journey of discovery. Maybe one day we will be wise old hermits living in a hollow tree atop a windy mountain.

There is a possibility I’ve been to West Virginia or Rhode Island or any other state actually but I just don’t remember because I might have been real young at the time if my parents ever brought me to them.
