anime in revolutions? post #1  quote:



did anyone notice the striking similarity of the last brawl in revolutions to modern day anime? here are some similar characteristics i noticed:

1. slow motion when neo and agent smith are about to make contact
2. the close up of neo's fist in smith's face shows smith's face disfigured (smashed in slow motion)
3. they fight in the air (dragonball z)

this is (as far as i know) the first attempt to film a movie with anime characteristics acted out in real life, meaning not in cartoons or complete cgi. anyone who is a dragonball z or other anime fan should give props to the w bros to modernize the world of anime

You should watch the Animatrix, alot of the special features talk about how the movie incorperates anime style and how the W bros are huge fans of the genre.
