May I ask an obvious question, without you feeling insulted? Why did you open a business without having a product? Although it's great to have business dream, have you asked yourself:
1. Do I have a service or product ready to sell, or do I need to obtain these before opening for business?
2. Who are my competitors and can I compete with them?
(You are up against Blockbuster, Amazon.com, and a few other big names)
3. Am I ready to open for business?
Although you have a catchy slogan in your signature, do you realize if you can't live up to it, people will mark you and advertise not to do business with you?
Now that you're open, you may want to consider starting off being a reseller for your competition. The only problem with this, is their websites and brand names are already well known, and why would someone go to your site when they can go to theirs?
What you might want to consider is selling used DVDs for people. Kind of like ebay, but restricted to DVDs. Offer everyone you know a price for their unused DVDs, then resell them on your site for less than your competitors. You won't have the overhead they do, so you should be able to get a fair price for them.
Another thing to find distributors, try search engines.
