At a press conference orchestrated by community advocates and leaders on the city's north side, Stephen Porter claimed that Minneapolis Police Officers Jeffrey Jindra and Todd Babekuhl sodomized him during a drug raid of his home. He claimed they used a toilet plunger.
There was a huge media frenzy and Porter was shown hunched over, limping, and having too much pain in his ass to sit down. Then when it was over, he suspiciously collapsed and medics were called in. News channels showed a video clip of Porter running across the street effortlessly seeming to be in no pain at all only hours earlier the same day. Yet, they continue to press the issue as if it really happened and the FBI is investigating. Porter is a convicted drug user who has hidden drugs in his anus in the past according to the news.
The cops involved, at least one of them, took a lie detector test and past. Porter apparently refuses to take one. I can't believe we allow this B.S. to continue and special interest groups are using it to bash the police. It is absolute non-sense.
Can someone who actually believes this happened tell me why on earth you would believe this crap?
Minneapolis is known to be very heavy handed and I won't argue that. But these bogus issues do nothing but hurt the police relationship with the community even more.
Remember the Native American a few months ago who was seen by witnesses to have been dropped off in the projects by two Minneapolis cops who urinated on him? The DNA lab test results just came back showing that the urine was his own. The guy pissed all over himself!! And everyone actually believed when the news stories ran that the cops beat him and pissed on him. The fact is, the cops help this guy out by giving him a ride home, as gross as he was. And this is the thanks they get.
