Court TV has been in to the court Room and heard testimony
concerning Laci's sister Amy.
Amy is a hair Dresser and she stated that Scott and Laci came to her shop to have their hair done on the 23rd of Dec. It so happened that Amy had a gift basket that had to be picked up and Scott volunteered to run this errand for her. If this is true, then why did Scott say he was fishing? Sounds Fishy to me.
The Housekeeper testified also today and needed a translator in order to be basically understood. The Journalist reported that the maid said she was in the house oh the 23rd and cleaned the bathroom with bleach, so this might be the bleach smell talked about by the prosecution.
The maid also said that the drapes in the house were not closed all the way, but half and half. What does that mean?
We will have to wait until the prosecutors unravel this mess.
Amber Frey is scheduled to appear next week. Her testimony takes on a greater significance as the tapes (phone) will not be allowed in to the case, at least at this point.

I also heard that Amy knew exactly what Laci was wearing and it was the same as she wore the next day when she disappeared. Did anyone hear of that? Also, do you mean that Scott was volunteering to drop off the package the next day? Very Strange.

Im not sure I understand the relevance of the gift basket. Picking up somthing like that and dropping it off would take a matter of a half hour...depending on where it needed to be picked up and dropped off.....I guess im unclear as to the importance of this. Just for arguments sake could it be that he picked it up, and dropped it off before he left to go? Again, Im confused as to the importance of this detail.
The housekeeper culd have hurt the prosecution because now we know that she did clean with bleach...and Scott did not perhaps do that....and with the lack of blood found...its quite possible that she was not killed in the house, unless of course there was no blood in the killing itself.....if thats the case, then I dont put too much emphasis on the bleach or the housekeeper.
NOW....the clothes on the other hand....that is a BIG problem for Scott. If in fact she was wearing the same clothes as the night before...I do see something strange about that. My real question is though...she talked to her mom at 8 pm for a few minutes (guess on the length of the call because I dont remember)...but I wonder what her routine was in changing clothes when getting home for the night. If she indeed had a routine, and IF she was wearing the same clothes...this could lead to a better estimate of the time he killed her.....
Overall, I think the clothes she was wearing could be more damaging than anything so far....in my opinion of course.

The point about the Gift basket is that the place where he picked it up for his sister-in Law and either dropped of at her shop is that he told the poliice he was fishing on 24th . So how could he be close to the Golf Course( thats what is being said) and fishing at the same time.
I agree on tHe clothes. She wasn't thE type of womaN who would wear the same outfit two days in a ROW!!!

Just for the record...I think the press has misled us once again about the clothes...
Here is the transcript from Amy about her clothes
it says:

Scott said she was reported as wearing black pants as well as most of the witnesses.
I just thought Id fill you guys in on that....I was surprised that the news is saying its the same clothes as Scott said she had on the next day, but evidently the news has misinformed us once again!

Laci's Mother also said that she and long time companion had dinner at Laci and Scotts on the 15th of December and no mention was made of any boat.
Ron Grantskii. Mrs Rochas friend is a long time fisherman and
Mrs Rochas thought that if Scott was planning to buy a boat he would have brought it up at the dinner.

It could add. The one thing that could hurt Ron Granski is that when Laci was missing and they knew about the boat...Ron Granski said in his interview (BEFORE they knew about Amber) was that he didnt think it was odd for Scott to have gone fishing by himself on Christmas Eve because he fishes by himself also many times, and that he didnt think it was an issue that Scott went when Laci was pregnant either....
Since he publically said this...and since he has since changed his story...especially about the boat, when at the time of the interview that wasnt even an issue and they knew the boat was in existance....it might suggest that they changed their story based on what they knew of Amber....at least thats what MG will say (and if he doesnt, then he missed out on a golden opportunity).
But can anyone see the problems Granski might have with the contradictive statements?
I mean how can one say its not a problem, and then find out about Amber and say it was a problem.....I dont know....it will either lend to the story like Delta said, or it will hurt the credibility of Ron...
Could go either way depending on how the statement itself is handled by the defense.

I dont believe Scott had another boat he owned....I dont remember ever hearing about that....but if I have a chance Ill look into it also...I just dont ever remember hearing that. I know that he and Laci had been on a boat before on one of their first dates, but it could have belonged to his dad or something...I dont know. I dont think he and Laci had a boat themselves during their marriage...but I will look it up.

I just checked into a very large very anti Scott forum, asked if anyone knew if Scott had had another boat.
I left my email.
You know I am getting obsessed again, Whew! Shades of The Head. I find myself flippng all over the channels looking for a tidbit to chew on. I have lost my mind, fo sure.

Yes, but he didn't mention going fishing with a boat. If the defense brings up what Granski said then the prosecution can rebut by saying he didn't mention a boat.
Some interesting items are brought out in the Nov 1 issue of Peoples Magazine : !. Calling IN The Dogs. One of the prosecutions star witnesses may never utter a word. On December 27 Investigators brought in a " "Cadaver dog" named TWist. During his tour of the premises ( Scott's Boat AND tHE warehouse. twIST SHOWED"Mild Interest, when positioned in the boat and some "interest" when allowed to sniff some containers in the front of the warehouse.
After much discussion, Judge Al nGirolami decided that Twist's evidence would be allowed.
It falls upon forensic scientific tests to be conducted on the areas the dogs hit to determine whether or not human remains are actually there. We shall see.
IN January soon after Laci's disappearance, Modesto police put a tracking device on Scott's Vehicles and those he borrowed from his family.
If Peterson did nothing but run routine errands, the defense will try to get some mileage out of that,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,But if he was visiting strip clubs, to take one hypothetical example, rather then mourning his missing wife, that may help the prosecution, who clearly intend to make his character a key issue.
Focus ON Amber, in August Fox news reported that a tape of a telephone call existed ini which she purportedly asked if he was involved in Laci's disappearance and he replied YES.... ah ah but no.But i can tell you later when I see you.
While the existence of the tape has never been confirmed, it has also never been debunked. If true it should be a bombshell , since Peterson's initial response could acknowledge or sugest involvement in the crime.

I have found no evidence of another boat, so I will drop that issue.
Another thing .the gift basket was never picked up, according to:Laci's sister. I misunderstood the Court TV commentary the other day. Sorry. It becomes very dificult to keep track of everything ,because we have so many interpretations by the press, who are constantly giving out opinions.
