Sherry... yes, I know that Kay is Jills mom. How long has Kay known this though? How did Jill find out? And WHY is Kay FAKING that she can't speak, etc... Explain ALLLLLLL of that to me, please!!!
:::>^..^<::: ~*~The Journey is more important than the end or the start~*~ :::>^..^<:::
O.K. Elizabeth Foster has a brain tumor, scheduled to have it removed. She comes to town and tells Jill she was adopted. Jill looks for her birth mother, finds the name on the certificate and finds a lady named Charlotte Ramsey. Jill meets her, John Abbot meets her. John dated Charlottes little sister in high school and remembers that she left town in some type of scandal. So, he goes to Kay and asks her about Charlotte, not telling her that she is Jills "mom". Kay says that Charlotte got pregant and they were friends. She went with Charlotte and helped her when Charlotte had an abortion. It was botched and Charlotte was incapable of having children. Charlotte is now a drunk scamming Jill for money. Jills son is set to marry Kay's granddaughter. Charlotte and Kay have not come face to face. Before the wedding CHarlotte tells Kay that Jill found her and that Jill is the baby girl Kay had to give up. Kay had an affair while her husband was overseas. She gave the baby up for adoption, Charlotte used her name on the birth certificate. Charlotte tells kay, Kay has a massive stroke. Charlotte tells Liz Foster just before the wedding starts. Liz and John tell JIll. Jill is left to devistate her son and Kays granddaughter on their wedding night. Kay regained her speech, but she wanted to be sure JIll was being nice to her for the right reasons.
So, is Jill truly happy that Kay is her mom, or is that animosity still there? What does she want to do with her mom? Is Kay still pretending to not be able to speak, or have these two come to terms with everything?

Kay can speak now. SHe just left the house to give Jill time to think and decide what she wants from Kay. The last scene was at Phillips grave. Kay told her that she was a beautiful girl and still is beautiful. Jill hugged her and told her she wasn't sure what her feelings were, but she doesn' t hate Kay anymore.

Hee hee! Thats true...but I think it was more so in the beginning...well...it still is, but they expanded the characters so much, they dont need to do that as much....I think. Either way, it doesnt make a difference. I NEVER miss it. Im still watching reruns waiting for the new show to start, which I assume will be in January.
Fess up...who is your favorite? Its really hard for me to make a choice because I love all the characters, they are all so different, but my favorite favorite favorite one is Peter Paige, otherwise known as Emmitt. He is hilarious! I love his character.
Im so psyched for the new season.
Im SO glad Justin got rid of the "fiddler"
I think something might happen to Ben's character in the next season...just because of what has been going on with him. I wonder if David will ever come back for a guest appearance?
I wonder what will happen with Brian finding a new job.
OH!! And did you freak out when Ted went to his group session in rehab and Blake was the counselor?
What so you think will happen with Melanie? Boy or girl baby?
I cannot wait for January!!
Of course thats just my opinion....I could be wrong. (Dennis Miller)

Okay, I watch it, but haven't seen it religiously. We just got shotime recently. Before that, we would watch a taped episode if someone gave it to us... or read about the ep's online. I want to buy the dvd for the entire 1st and 2nd seasons, but it's too dang expensive. Besides, I don't want to spend over $100 for something that I will watch one time.
I love Emmitt. He has such a gentle heart and did NOT deserve to have what happened to him, happen. I'm glad that he's got friends while his drugged up ex does whatever he is going to do. That white powder will ruin everything, and you don't care about anything. That was so sad for me to watch.
I love the girls, and I really hope that Mel as a little girl.
I don't much care for Brian. He's a real jerk, who can't stay faithful to anyone. Especially someone like Justin... who gave him his heart. Now, he's had to settle to have Brian, but only when Brain wants him.
And yes, glad that the "fiddler" is history. I didn't even like the chemistry between those two.

Mystic, there's a new soap, the L word, starting in January, on shotime.
I can not WAIT for that show to premier. That is why we got shotime... and got QAF while we were at it.

I havent heard of that one yet.....Im gonna have to check that one out too.
I have the first two seasons on tape. I didnt at first, but when I saw the price of the DVD for the first season, I freaked.....so I taped the whole first season when they reran them. Then I taped the second season every sunday night as I watched it. I didnt for the third though, and Im really upset about it.
A girl in my husbands office watches it all the time and she might have the third season on tape...Ill have to ask her. During the season I call her every monday so we can gossip about it.....
If youre ever interested in copies of the first two seasons let me know.
And they signed a contract for three years....so we are good to go for at least another 3 new seasons.
