DAVIE, Fla. (Oct. 10, 2003) -- Injured Miami linebacker Junior Seau missed practice and may not play in against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Coach Dave Wannstedt said Seau, who has a strained left hamstring, won't start but could be used sparingly.
"I think we could use him in a backup role, but that will be a game-time decision," Wannstedt said.
Tommy Hendricks will start for Seau. Hendricks has started once in four season with Miami. The first linebacker off the bench is rookie Corey Jenkins.
Seau was injured in last week's 23-10 win over the New York Giants.
Defensive tackle Tim Bowens will also be a game-time decision with a cut on his hand.
