Network bosses have reportedly been hit with ... complaints for thinking up the idea in the first place.
I think this thread and other similar threads and entire web pages dedicated to watching celebrities in their element, without make-up, shows that this wasn't really anything the Networks "thought of". The idea was just sitting there waiting for someone to make a show out of it.
People ovbiously have a fascination with ensuring that celebrities do look "normal" under all that glamour and fake tan and stylists. You know it'll be a ratings winner!

Goldie Hawn, Melanie Griffith and Pamela Anderson are among the celebrities fighting to keep a paparazzi TV show off the air because it features them at their most raw.
"Stars Without Makeup," which mainly features candid photos of stars shopping, is set to air on Fox next week.
Network bosses have reportedly been hit with a number of anonymous pleas to scrap the show and complaints for thinking up the idea in the first place.

I saw pieces of the first show...I didnt think much about it...I mean us women look so different without makeup....I dont know why these gals are having such fits over it. Do they really believe that we think they look like this day and night? As if!
Anyhow..I didnt think that much about it...until I saw Barbra Streisand! That was pretty bad. It never occurred to me that anyone could look THAT bad without makeup..she proved me wrong!
I couldnt find any photos though....can you find any?
HERE?S starlet Scarlett Johansson oozing anything but her usual glamour as she makes an emergency trip to fix a whopping zit.Scarlett, 20, hid under a hood, cap and shades to bolt to her dermatologist in Beverly Hills.
But nothing could cover up the Lost In Translation star?s breakout and she was horrified to be spotted by a passer-by. Hollywood sweetheart Scarlett is known for her old-school glamour ? and usually has hunky Alexander actor Jared Leto, 33, in tow. We bet she?s still his favourite squeeze.
