That's the kind of entertainment that I can really get into. I enjoyed it, especially the writing.
For a $400.00 budget, the quality was very much like other low budget indie films, which is what I have always enjoyed the most. Strangely enough, if you would have made the film on a million dollar budget, it would have cheapened the story for me.
I had a little difficulty hearing some of the dialogue, but that certainly didn't make the film un-enjoyable.
"That Guy" kind of reminds me of any guy, or gal, who has ever felt stuck in life and coming to terms and accepting that the way things once were, are no longer, so get with the program and adapt to new circumstances and grow with it, or could he be so stuck in life that he had to make himself believe that he was, at one time, something he never was in order to justify his own worth?
Was the voice of "God" really just his subconscious reiterating to him what he has said to himself in the mirror many times over? Is the guy aware that he continues to fall into these specific coping behaviours, but disgusted in himself for never allowing those behaviours to motivate him enough to help himself move forward? I'm just guessing, but that is what I got from it. I didn't really take the word of "God" as the actual word of "God."
I believe only a person who is trying to reconcile with themselves would use the word "piss" as a tool to wake themselves up.

the film quality looked good for a low budget movie, it was more than what I expected. |
We "filmed" it on a Panasonic DVX-A100 that shoots progressive video at 24fps.... mimicing "film". It had a good movie quality effect that might not be completely obvious in this compressed online version.

the voice of God at the end, (or wormhole alien) was cool, but a few words there, I missed, couldn't make it out 100%. |
The quality of the audio suffers a bit in the compression which, I agree, makes some of the words more difficult to understand. Our final DVD makes it a little easier.

Though it may work at home. I'll try it there. |
Any luck with that?

Good to hear. If there proves to be enough motivation, we will eventually make the second episode in the series.

You've got it down. Answers to these questions would play themselves out down the road.
Thanks for the great feedback. I'm of course open to more if anyone else manages to check out the movie. Much appreciated.
