'DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES' SPIN-OFF IN THE WORKS
Fans of "Desperate Housewives" have been given good news -- plans are already in the pipeline for a spin-off show.
The show has quickly become a huge ratings success since its debut just months ago, and now creator Marc Cherry reveals that ABC has set aside a timeslot for a spin-off of his popular series -- but he has yet to find time to start writing it.
He says, "It's going to take me a couple of seasons before I have the energy [and] time. I know another angle on telling the stories of the people in this neighborhood."
He adds that the storylines on the new show would deal with a "segment of Wisteria Lane's population" but would be set elsewhere
