I love the stoy of how Godsmack got there name. People often mistake it for something bad but its really not. This is what I was told. One day one of the band members came in to practice with a cold sore on his lip. One of the guys started making fun of him about it. Well, shortly after that he came in with one and they said everyone gets there Godsmack. Meaning you should make fun of people cause it could happen to you. So ture So true.

I don't know about the name but I have heard that the entire group is into witchcraft and black magic and stuff.

I don't know about black magic but I did hear the lead singer is Wiccan, I don't know about the rest of the group.

I thought it was interesting hearing about that. They're still a good group though and I do like some of their music.

Yeah I like there music too. I haven't hear anything they've done recently but I still think they good.

I don't know the names to any of their songs but the newest one that I've heard has the phrase "I need serenity" in it. Come to think of it, I haven't heard anything by them in a while either

I know, have they not come up with a new album yet or something? The song your talking about is Serienty. It's a pretty good song. I haven't really thought about it but I guess I'll look into what the band is up to.

Good idea. You never know. They may be taking some time off for a while to kind of relax...

OK so heres what Godsmack has been up to. They went on tour in Europe last year after they relesaed their album "Faceless". They will be touring in the US with Metallica starting in March. They are currently in Hawaii, a convient stop on the way back from an Asian tour, working on a new all acoustic album set to drop on Noverber 18th. After they finish with their new record they are set to do a North American tour starting in Canada.

So the group had been busy, we just haven't heard about it. Bands like Godsmack don't get much radio play so I guess you have to be an avid fan to know what they are up to. I like Godsmack but I don't really keep up with what they are doing. If there songs don't come on the radio I usually don't hear them.

Same here. I don't have any of their albums.

Is there more info in that or is the ... the ending. That's cool, confirms what I said eariler. I'd like to hear there new album but I dont really want to buy it. I much for downloading off the internet either so I guess I'll have to wait until it get more play on the radio.

That's true. You sit there and read something and it ends with "..." and you find yourself looking around for more or waiting for more and there isn't any more to it than that. I really hate that.

Yeah its like when some thing come on tv and its really good and your all into it and then WHAM, to be continued. What is that, I want to know now, I've been reading/watching this and you leave it off with a ... thats nuts, there should be a law.

Actually, I'm really bad about that. I usually leave a trail of dots behind everything I say when I'm 'typing' to someone.

Yeah, or they should be locked in a room and only spoken to by people who never finish their sentences. Yeah that would work. HAHA.

Oh and when your "chatting" online that's different. I do it to, manily when I'm chatting and I'm not sure I want to say what I was gonna say, but you have to put something so they know you there. Or when I'm typing a long answer and dont want them to have to wait the whole time, or when I'm trying to think of what I'm saying. See that's all fine and good, but when your reading something and you get interested and then all of a sudden its left unresolved with a ... drives me crazy.

And theres nothing wrong with the lead singer of Godsmack being Wiccan, sorry thought I'd throw something about Godsmack in since this is a thread on them, lol.

Whenever I talk to someone online, most of my IM's look like this... But I never do that when typing out an e-mail... It's just a habit that I have I guess...

I have nothing against them or him being Wiccan either. It's pretty cool I guess. If everyone were "normal", this would be one boring world that we live in.
