| At this crucial moment when the war may be triggered at any day, we have an idea for peace, that is, the Iraqi Government would invite France, Germany and Russia to form a united committee, which, under the guidance and supervision of the United Nations, would take over Iraq for 5 to 10 years, responsible for elimination of mass destruction weapons within the country, so as to ensure the fulfillment of the Resolution No.1441 of UN and dismiss the doubts of US and Britain on the Saddam Government. Meanwhile, France, Germany and Russia would guarantee the sovereignty and integrity of territory of Iraq. During the period of taking-over, the united committee composing of the three countries would be in charge of Iraqi internal and foreign affairs, while Saddam government sits aside for time being. And Iraq would offer its oil fields or oil for the payment of expenses of taking-over and elimination of weapons. In this way, the World may be avoided from an unnecessary war. | |
