Mrs. Figg and Crookshanks-a connection?

Mrs. Figg sent her cat Mr. Tibbles to keep an eye on Harry in OOP. SO, she has inteligent animals who she is able to communicate with. Crookshanks was in the Magical Menagerie Shop for a long time before Hermione bought him. Maybe, he was one of Mrs. Figgs cats? Conspiracy people, please chime in

Oh yeah... I think that you're on to something here, Sherry. I have ALWAYS thought that there was more to Crookshanks than just a cat. And, wasn't Crookshanks outside in PoA, near a dog, which we now know to have been Sirius? Hmmmmmmmm... see, we have a conspiracy!

The Harry Potter Lexion lists Crookshanks as being part Kneazle-cat like creature that can detect dishonest people. I just think that there is way more to her stuck-up kitty than meets the eye. Heck, he assisted in the purchase of the Firebolt. Most cats, I don't care if they are magical, are not that accommodating.

Some day we'll find it, the Crookshanks connection, Harry, Dumbleore and me.........la da da da da da da........

I'm just going to say that I don't know WHAT Crookshanks is... but I don't think that he's just a cat. I think that he is something other than an animagus though. Time will tell.

Crookshanks looks disapprovingly at Ron and Harry for making up their Divinations homework, yet HE stole the passwords to the tower from Neville. Just something to think about.

Yeah... now that you mention it... that really is something to think about!! And what's funny is.... none of those kids even think anything about it. I would really be wondering. I don't think that Crookshanks is bad... but I believe that we are going to be shocked!

I don't think he is bad either, but I think a bombshell is coming where he is concerned. Can you imagine Hermione finding out that her cat has been having more adventures?

She will be furious! Also... what will she do, knowing that this cat, whoever he is, has been with her all this time... sleeping with her, watching her change, etc... Oh man... that will be a bombshell in itself!
