Prosecutors to present video interview of alleged victim with injury photos

Prosecutors prepping for a preliminary hearing in the Kobe Bryant rape case plan to present a videotaped interview with the alleged victim, photographs of the 19-year-old woman's injuries, and a taped statement from Bryant, much of which "will corroborate the victim's hearsay statement and provide direct evidence to many of the elements of the offense charged."

This glimpse into the government's case came today in a prosecution motion to quash a subpoena--issued by Bryant's lawyers--seeking the alleged victim's testimony at the October 9 hearing.

District Attorney Mark Hurlbert argued that requiring the woman to appear at the prelim would cause "anxiety and intimidation to the victim," who has moved from Eagle, Colorado and would have to travel one-half day and miss work if required to testify next month.

Who in their right mind would think she would put herself through this hell if she was making it up or just wantd money. I wouldn't go though her hell and death threats for 10 million. If she wanted money she could have just blackmailed him. Much easier. She can't even continue her education and has had to go into hiding like Ann Frank.

Many people would go through hell to get some money. She could have black mailed Kobe but as you see her history (attempting suicide) she was not stable anyway. I don't know if sh is lieing or telling the truth I think it was consentual and after it she regreted it or maybe he treated her like a hoe or something and told her to get out of his room cause he got what he wanted. Maybe she was spiteful and wanted to get all she could get from him.

Kobe is like most men. He views women as a place to shove his di$%. Most men think of women as a piece of as#. This is demonstrated in rap, TV, movies,internet, church, and just about anywhere I can think of. It is very discouraging. I think , so called Christians, are some of the worst.( and I used to be a big Christian)
