| Broncos Launch Online Game Day Experience
Sept. 4, 2003
The Denver Broncos will launch a unique interactive feature for their fans this Sunday when the team kicks off the 2003 season against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Denver Broncos Game Day Experience is the first of its kind in professional sports -- an online application that tries to capture the fun and excitement of attending a Broncos game and deliver it to the computer -- even when the Broncos are on the road!
The Game Day Experience -- or GDX -- will be active starting one hour before kickoff of all Broncos games until one hour after the game ends. The first 50 people who log in will be sent the same giveaway being handed out at the stadium for Broncos home games, and other great Broncos prizes when the team is away.

Once logged in, fans will be able to participate in a number of interactive elements. Users can try their hand at prediction-based games and a halftime trivia challenge, and see how they fared against other fans on the online leader board. Polls will be conducted throughout the game for fans to give their opinions. People can check out tailgating photos and recipes and submit their own. At halftime, fans will even be able to watch videos from halftime shows at past Broncos games.
Fans will also be able to interact with each other throughout the game through special chat rooms, including Smack Talk Central, Armchair Quarterbacks and a Kids Zone for younger fans. After games, moderated chats with Broncos alumni will be held for fans to ask questions of some of their favorite former players. Former Broncos and University of Cincinnati kicker Rich Karlis will be the special guest following this Sunday's game against the Bengals, with the chat starting shortly after the game ends.
If you're watching the Broncos from home and want to feel like you're at the game, log on to the Denver Broncos GDX!
