A series of commemorative coins featuring the characters from Lord of the Rings is to be launched.
The coins, which depict grand wizard Gandalf, hobbit Frodo, Gimli the dwarf, elf warrior Legolas and Aragorn, have the Queen on the other side.
They will be legal tender in the Isle of Man, where they can be exchanged at banks for their face value, but cannot used in shops as currency.
John Rhys-Davies, who plays Gimli in the hit films, is to launch the coins.
