Are there any Lucy Lawless fans out there!????
Beyond Xena... I just absolutely love and adore this woman.
She does so much for women's rights, and for children.
I miss her being on tv all the time... but I at least have video and dvd's of her shows, and interviews, etc... And thank God for the internet for news and pictures.

So... anyone else out there obsessed, errr.... a fan of Lucy's?

Premise

This series of five films bring to life History’s most charismatic women warrior. Shot on location in France, Ireland, Britain, China, and New Mexico, the stories are a heady mix of historical sleuthing and provocative reconstruction brought to the screen by television’s most famous women warrior: Lucy Lawless, star of the television series Xena, Warrior Princess. Each story investigates the intimate, gritty details of the life and times of these real women and celebrates the popular mythology that surrounds them a popularity that has grown exponentially in our zest for Hollywood-sized depictions of these iconic heroines.

KJ I notice you have posted stuff for Lucy/ Xena all over the place, you should start a forum for Lucy/ Xena, maybe even Hercules, all those sort of shows. Like you have done for Eliza Dushka (sp?). Just a thought.

Actually, I would start one, IF there was going to be a lot of posting on her. That's why I started a couple threads. But, they've been here for 2 months, and you're the first person in here. So, I really don't think that I will without there being more people coming here.

The Eliza forum was started for angelhands and misery. They said that they wanted one, and that they were going to bring in 'traffic' from other fan sites of hers.

No reason to start a Xena or Hercules forum. They are both shows that have been over for over 2 years. That's not going to get a lot of people here.

They are starting (or have started - we might be a bit behind in Australia) a new series of Tarzan, someone told me that the new series is similar in style and stuff to Xena and Hercules, have you seen them?

Also heard that they will get Lucy Lawless and they want to get Kevin Sorbo to do some cameos in this new show? Do you know anything about it.

<edit> duh, not paying attention, you have posted a whole thread of stuff about Lucy being in Tarzan, I am so blind sometimes. LOL.

I figured that you would find that other thread...
Yes, being a huge fan of Lucy's, I tend to follow her.
You don't even want to know how many webpages I've got on her.

Thrill kills

Uma Thurman stars as an assassin with a thirst for revenge in "Kill Bill, Vol. I," entering theaters today. Here are a few other he-girls who've kicked butt first, asked questions later.

Linda Carter - The original Wonder Woman with take charge attitude.

Michelle Pfeiffer - No matter what Halle Berry does with the role, Pfeiffer will always be the Catwoman we'd love to de-claw.

Halle Berry - What's better than James Bond? Berry's female agent Jinx in 2002's "Die Another Day."

Lucy Lawless - No, not for her starring role on "Xena: Warrior Princess" (though there's nothing wrong with that). Better still was her barnstorming tour through Spring-field on "The Simp-sons."
___________

I forgot Lucy Lawless even was on the Simpsons until I saw the above thing about Kill Bill. I heard from a friend that she was a guest star in one of Aaron Spelling's soaps once, do you know if this is true KJ and which one it was if it is true?

KJ

I had a friend ask me if I had heard that Lucy was going to do another new series. A series of her own like Xena, it was not that Tarzan thing.

I didn't know anything about it, but I immediately thought of you. If anyone will know it has to be you.

Is this true? Is there going to be another series? She said it was going to be similar to Xena (eg: Lucy playing a super-woman of some sort)?

Lucy has a couple movies coming out... Boogeyman and Ugly Americans.
She isn't currently working on a series, and Tarzan has been cancelled!!!
I would LOVE for her to do another series, but who knows what is in the cards for her!?!?!

If you scroll up to the top and read the third post, you will see that Lucy has been doing a series called, Warrior Women... about real women warriors throughout history. That might be what your friend was talking about. Lucy is the host of this series... and it's not a long running thing. I think that she did about 6 shows.
