Seen a good movie lately? Tell us about it, what did you like about it? What did you not like about it.

Be a movie critic and rate a movie that you have seen.

Rate the movie between 1 and 10 and give it a thumbs up or a thumbs down

Example:

The Blues Brothers
Rating: 10
I really liked this movie, it had lots of action, comedy, chase scenes, car crashes and lots of very good music. It had a star studded cast including famous entertainers like James Brown, Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin. A must see.

Pay It Forward
7
I thought it was a pretty good movie except I expected to see more people paying it forward, like the bum druggie that saves the woman getting ready to jump off the bridge. What happened to them? They spent too much time on the relationship. Also I didn't like the ending and would have wrote a different ending then the one they chose.

We rented, "Bringing Down the House" last night, with Steve Martin and Queen Latifa. Oh man... it was an extremely funny movie, and I'm now going to buy the dvd. If you haven't seen it, and you want to have a comedy night, add this to your list. Steve played this divorced father, with two kids, who happens to be a tax attorney. His whole life has been wrapped up in his work, and then Queen Latifa shows up on his door step. His life changes, dramatically from that moment on. Betty White plays the neighbor across the street, in a very rich, white neighborhood, and you would think that they had never seen a person of color. The one liners in this movie are great, and the acting is really good.

We just watched, "The Emperor's Club," with Kevin Kline. It is an AWESOME movie. Kevin Kline is a teacher at an all boys school... and the one thing that he really tries to get across to these kids is what we leave behind. What is the contribution in life that we all make. It was a movie where you laugh, feel upset, and even want to cry. The acting was excellent.

Kevin Kline is a great actor. If you haven't seen another movie that he stared in, "Life As A House," rent that as well. He plays a father who is divorced, and just can't seem to get his life together. He and his son, played by Hayden Christian from Star Wars, don't get along. He takes his son for the summer and together they build a house. It's an emotional movie, with a lot of laughter throughout. It shows the love of a family, if you just give your heart to it.

Both are amazing movies that I HIGHLY recommend to you.

Matchstick Men

I won't ruin too much about the story of this other than that the writers really did something different with the actors in this movie. The main character has an overcompulsive syndrome of cleaning and many other nervous ticks such as having to shut his front door three times as well as getting very upset when anyone comes into his house with their shoes still on. It's great to see that the hero/main character is human just like the rest of this. The movie is funny as well as creative and full of susprise at the end. A must see, definately made me look up to Nicholas Cage as an Actor.
