What the best movie of all time is debatable, rather tell me your favorite movie of all time.

As for mine I think I would have to say "The Blues Brothers" as being my favorite movie of all times.

It has a lot of action, adventure, comedy chase scenes, car crashes, cast of many famous singers and actors and some really great music. Stars Dan Aykroyd, John Beluchi, James Brown, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Carrie Fisher, Henry Gibson, John Candy, Steve Lawrence, Twiggy, Frank Oz, John Lee Hooker, Steven Spielburg and many more.

I think they broke a Guiness record for number of wrecked cars.

The music was great and should be listened to with a home theater system with the volume turned up.

Man... I guess that I would have to think, what ONE movie, if I had to pick just one, would I want to have to watch, over and over, for a lifetime. Wow... that's a tough decision!

The original Star Wars. I have seen that movie more times that I can count, and I'm still not tired of it.

Also, The Stand, by Stephen King. I've seen that almost as many times as Star Wars! It's about this disease that the US Government creates, and it spreads throughout the world, accidentally. It kill most of the population and the people that are remaining have dreams/visions of a woman of God, and a man of evil. They are drawn to one or the other. It's an amazing, end of the world, starting all over movie.

The Virus, on similar lines as Stand, is my favorite. Its the story of a biological weapon gone awry, which spreads and kills all people in the world. The only place left is Antartica, where due to the cold, the virus cannot propagate. A group of 100 or so people survive in the Antarctica, with 80 men and 20 women from various countries!! The leaders decide to keep the society's equilibrium by adoping the policy of polyandry, ie, each women had to share with 4 or more men!! Man, that was a classic. Of the diverse issues we face during armageddon. Try to grab a copy of i. Its shot in the 70s.

I like Pirates of the Caribbean, but one of my all time favorites is Lord of the Rings, I have seen it so many times, but people say they don't like that movie, oh come on, whats not to like, the orcs are hotjk, well...if you don't like it please tell what you don't like about it,

My favorite movie is Shower, a wonderful Chinese family story. Great music, humor and pathos. I loved it, bought it and watch it over and over.

Williow, by Ron Howard... what can i say? I love cute movies like those.... oh, and a very handsome, and young, Val Kilmer, hot hot hot.... I don't know how many times i've seen it... since whenever i can when i bought the new DVD.... I absolutely love it!!

Braveheart! Action, Drama, Romance, throw in a few laughs, matyrdom...Excellent movie, I've watched it dozens of times!

I agree that Braveheart is in my top 3, along with Amistad (WOW) and I still love the Matrix. There's others as well, like The Fugitive, The Life of David Gale, The Usual Suspects, The Life of David Gale, American Beauty, The Life of David Gale (Go WATCH THIS MOVIE if you haven't seen it yet...) Silence of the Lambs, The Sixth Sense, Gladiator, Timecop (LOL, just joking!...), Remember The Titans, Glory, Slingblade....

Believe me, I could go on...

Worst movie of ALL TIME? Anyone ever seen Saturday the 14th? Be glad that you haven't. Trust me, you don't want to...

Best horror movie of all time? In my opinion, off the top of my head, I'd have to say Dolls. Chills up and down my spine when I look at my little sisters dolls to this day...

Best dumb-head action-comedy? Evil Dead series.

Oh, and add Awakenings to my list. GREAT film!

I don't think I could just pick one for my all time favorite movie. Some of the best movies ever to me are GOODFELLAS, Sleepers, and Casino.

Goodfellas shoulda been on my list. Same with HEAT. Carlito's Way is a good one too. Also, Scent of a Woman, Murder in the First, SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION (can't believe I forgot about THAT one...), Se7en, Meet Joe Black, UNFORGIVEN...

Reservoir Dogs was pretty good too... I also liked the one with Michael Caine and Toby McGuire. Title escapes me though...

There's too many to pick just one.....

But one of my very favorites is: One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest

Drama's: Scarface, Goodfella's, Casino, Dead Man Walking (or ANY Sean Penn movie), Dog Day Afternoon, Forrest Gump, American History X, Usual suspects....to name a few.


Comedies: Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Breakfast Club, My Cousin Vinny, Weekend at Bernie's, Mrs. Doubtfire, Barefoot in the Park, Uncle Buck.....to name a few.

Rocky Horror Picture Show, obviously. Come on, people, it's a classic! Or The Godfather. Or Citizen Cane. Ah, well, they're all good.

Hey, no fare I was adding RHPS today, LOL, beat me too it. The best movie to get together and party and watch with your friends, love it. Life of DAvid Gale is a really good movie, I'd have tyo say its one of the best drama type movies to come out in a while. I'd alo like to add Blow to my list good movie. American History X is good too, the ending is upsetting but its a good movie.

The Godfather. I love that movie. The cinematography, the score, perfect cast. Just love it.

I was wondering how long it was going to take someone to say the Godfather. I thought that was like evey guys favorite movie.

LOL i like the Godfather and other movies like it too. I was just saying pretty much every guy you talk to says they love that movie. Figured it would have been up here before you put it up. LOL.
