If there was a 'triple threat" to be found, it was Serena. She could dance just as well as any of those people who'd been dancing for years, she could sing better than ANYONE, and yes, she had a bit of an attitude, but that's what they were looking for! Every week she blew me away.. literally. If she were to enter the music scene now, she'd rank higher than 98% of the singers out. She can belt just as well as Christina can, she hit notes as well as Mariah(though not as consistently but Mariah's high notes are so airy, Serena could probably get up there if she tried), she has all the emotion of Whitney. **** Celine. And she has stage presence. Especially when she did "I Wanna Dance With Somebody", "I'm Your Baby Tonight", and "God Bless America". Honestly, those performances alone could have won her the competition. Harlemm, even though I liked him from the beginning, didn't compare. The only performance of his that really stands out is when he did "Control". Serena needs to get signed by someone, and I believe she will. Clive Davis always looking for new singers But honestly, I hope something big happens for her. She's got the presence, the voice, and attitude to make it big.

she has the talent to be great and could have possibly won, however, she was still stuck in her lounge singing mode and not a pop singin mode. yaknowhaimean? she riffed WAY to much for a person to enjoy the song if she could have just toned it down a bit, her perfomance would have been much more enjoyable and memorable for that matter. just food for thought.

Serena should take lessons from a vocal coach. She has a powerful voice, but she needs training on how to use it to best effect.

She chose songs that were mean't to be belted out. Divas are known for riffing and what-not. Serena could sing, plain and simple. She should have won.

I think Serena needs vocal training however she could use vocal advice. She did chose songs that were meant to be belted however, she belted too much. As a perfomer, she has to learn to tone it down. Personally, I believe Serena should have won based on talent (screw Harlemm! ) but because she didnt perform to her audience they weren't appealed. Plain and Simple.
