Of her at school, with a friend, etc? Those ones are pretty flattering, and some of them are very pretty.......If she is indeed the one in the water showing her ta-tas off, she is very pretty and obviously has a nice body.

YOU dont know what she's going through or what really happened ,but because automatically you think " Oh well he's a celebrity so GOD knows he didn't do it " give me a break. | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: DeniseAlexandra | | Who said they thought he was innocent cause he's a celeb? Why are YOU so quick to believe HER? It's too bad we live in a society where rape occurs, yes. But it's also too darn bad we live in a society where women DO cry rape when it's not rape, and when people DO use accusations like this to better themselves, get money, etc.
I would never blame a woman for her rape......ever. And I don't care who it was being accused, celeb or not......However I have the right to comment on who I believe after reading the info out there. And as I said before, we don't know the whole truth or all the info, no. But from what we do know? *I* believe in his innocence. To make a blanket statement as you are, that people only believe him cause he's a celeb and that society blames women for their rape is like saying people only believe her cause she's a sweet innocent white girl from Colorado, and that society is always blaming men unfairly for rape. Pretty bad of a statment, huh? I think so too. (o; | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: DeniseAlexandra | | The yearbook pic, to me, looks nothing like the others! And she does have some makeup on in the yearbook one....it just totally does not fit the other pics. Makeup or not. And I don't think Kobe wanted some blonde white girl anymore than he was out looking for some dark haired black girl. I think he met her, and was attracted to her....white, blonde, brunnette, Hispanic, etc. But if he did want some white girl? That's his perogative. We all have our own sexual preferences, and prefer certain "types" of people, looks and body size included..... | | Reply To this Message

HE, LIKE MOST ATHLETES, SIMPLY DON'T THINK ABOUT THEIR CAREERS WHEN THEY MAKE ALL OF THESE STUPID DECISIONS. HE'S OBVIOUSLY A B-BALL GENIOUS. BUT I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT A DUMMY HE IS! IN FACT-HIS STUPID ACTIONS MAKE YOU FORGET ABOUT HIS B-BALL EXCELLENCE. THAT'S HOW DUMB HE IS. HE THOUGHT HE WAS THE MAN. IGNORING SHAQ, HIS FATHER-KOBE WAS HIS OWN MAN, NOT NEEDING ADVICE OR MENTORING FROM OTHERS BECAUSE HE THINKS HE'S ALL THAT JUST BECAUSE HE CAN SHOOT A BASKETBALL-ARROGANT! NOW LOOK WHERE HE'S AT...AND, UNFORTUNATELY, IF THE COURT VENUE ISN'T CHANGED HE'S GOING TO JAIL. PERIOD! DUMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND NO RUBBER USED ON TOP ON THAT. WHAT IF THE CHICK HAD HIV? |
| Posted by: Allgood | | I've seen the pics of this chic and she's a beat ordinary white girl.....i mean i have nothing against white girls and obviously Kobe don't either but.......there was a 12 hour delay from when the alleged assault happened and when it was reported.....so who's to say that any physical evidence wasn't self inflicted? I'm not trying to discredit her accusation because rape is a very serious thing......but there's so many people out there saying that Kobe is guilty before this trial even starts.....what the hell ever happened to "innocent until proven guilty"? This is my theory.....First.....she was thought to be a threat to her own life and actually overdosed on pills......so i don't think she's completely mentally sound.......Second.....Did she actually think that they were going to his room to talk at that time of night or what........Third......I think she thought he really liked her and felt there was something between them....when there actually wasn't and when the consensual sex was over she felt like he owed her something for having sex with him......and the only way to get it was to accuse him of rape.......now....this is only my theory and i really hope that it's wrong.....because rape is a very serious thing......But I think it comes down to not the truth but.....what and who will the jury believe?.......Kobe Bryant.....an NBA Star who's name has never been involved in anything bad or a 19 year old girl who already in the past has been hospitalized because she intentionally or unintentionally overdosed on pills and has already been feared to be a risk to her own physical health.....that's what it all comes down to.....who's story is more believable.....and who's image stands up in court....... | | Reply To this Message

There is NO SUCH THING as "innocent until proven guilty !!! Those arguing such things have forgotten two things:
1. They must mean "PRESUMED innocent until proven guilty" which is DEFINITELY different. If you rob a bank, you are guilty, even tho the trial hasn't happened yet. YOU know you are guilty, the bank clerk certainly knows you are guilty, those witnesses who saw you rob the bank definitely know you are guilty, and the police and prosecutors who have seen the video also KNOW you are guilty. You are ABSOLUTELY guilty, but not proven guilty as yet in a court of law !!!!!!!!!
2. The accused is only "PRESUMED innocent until proven guilty" in a COURT OF LAW. Only in the court of law. This does not pertain to public opinion. Just to the courtroom. That means that the judge and jury should wait and withhold judgement until they see that the evidence proves your guilt. Until such time as the evidence shows your guilt, the judge and jury are obligated to keep an open mind and presume you are innocent. Nobody else has to.
Therefore the public and press etc. are free to see and say what they believe, and are under NO obligation to see the bank robber or Kobe as innocent. We are not the judge and jury. We can say he's guilty if we feel he is.
If he has raped this girl, Kobe Bryant is as guilty now , as much as he is at the end of his trial.
******
Too bad Kobe’s WEDDING ring didn't mean THE SAME AMOUNT to him as his guilt-offering of 4 million dollars. Nor did his wedding VOWS mean all that much either. If he lied before God and his wife on their wedding day….WHY SHOULD WE BELIEVE HIM? He’s already told us he lies.
I don't believe how much this poor girl has to suffer coz the dog was caught doing what he shouldn’t have been doing anyway.
These over spoiled players feel they can have whatever, whomever and whenever they like it. I'm glad this girl has enough "balls" to have him charged, even tho his people will crucify her before it comes to trial. If only Kobe had the same "balls" in keepin his own balls inside his zipped-up married pants.
4 million dollar "ring of guilt" doesn't make him innocent. Just CAUGHT.
Why should we look up to a cad who wants to use young girls, and disrespect his own wife just because he is out of town and thinks he it safe to do so? Because he thinks HE should be allowed to rape and walk? I don’t think so! Best of luck to the young girl.
We would be better served to look elsewhere to find a hero, than with Kobe Bryant. Perhaps the unnamed victim is a greater hero than he could have ever been. God bless her ! She is fast becoming my own hero. | | Reply To this Message

If she is your hero then you must not want much out of life!!! Kobe did the same that million of men worldwide do to their wives day in and day out! There is no need to crucify him! I am not saying that what he did is right, but just because some of you women are to lazy to stand up and raise your kids right and be a role model for them instead of Kobe, doesn't give you the right to condim that man. Kobe is a human being that made a mistake that I am sure that he regrets. He does regret it enough to make an apology worth 4 million dollars! His wife forgave him so that is all that matters. The girl in my opion is simply a desprate little teenager looking for an easy way to get money! Since none of her other skeems worked then she decided to simply try and take out one of the last few strong black men that we have left!

| Posted by: Allgood | | This chick was probably expecting something more to come out of this one night thing......that she would be his side girl when he came and played against the nuggets......but when kobe probably said "get out"......being that she's mentally unstable anyway.....she overplayed it and acted all distraught so that someone would see her.....so that way she could claim rape instead of being known as just another piece of ass......NOW LET'S BE COMPLETELY REAL.......KOBE IS A CELEBRITY AND NO DOUBT GETS ASS THROWN AT HIM ALL THE TIME.....AND THE ONE TIME HE ACCEPTS IT AND BANGS THE HELL OUT THE GIRL.....HE'S ACCUSED OF RAPE.......DOES ANYBODY REALLY THINK THAT KOBE HAS NEEDED OR DOES NEED TO RAPE ANYBODY......I'M NOT SAYING I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED B/C I DON'T......NONE OF US DO. BUT WHAT I AM SAYING IS THIS.......ALL EVIDENCE POINTS TO CONSENUAL SEX........AND A GIRL WITH HURT FEELINGS. THIS CHICK IS CRAZY AND I HOPE THE TRUTH COMES OUT......BUT I'M STARTING TO THINK THAT KOBE IS SCREWED REGARDLESS OF HOW THINGS PLAY OUT......LET'S LOOK AT THE VENUE......THE TRIAL IS SET IN A SMALL TOWN WHERE THE BLACK POPULATION IS VERY LOW.......HOW MANY BLACK PEOPLE DO YOU THINK ARE GONNA BE ON THAT JURY? AND HOW IS A FAIR TRIAL SUPPOSED TO TAKE PLACE WHEN IT'S IN THIS CHICKS HOMETOWN, WHERE PEOPLE ARE GONNA FEEL SORRY FOR THIS YOUNG WHITE GIRL WHO WAS "ASSAULTED" BY THIS BIG AND STRONG BLACK MAN, EVEN IF THEY DON'T PERSONALLY KNOW HER.......I THINK KOBE IS INNOCENT BUT I HAVE THE FEELING HE'LL BE PROVED GUILTY BECAUSE OF WHERE THE TRIAL IS TAKING PLACE. I HOPE RACE DOESN'T COME INTO PLAY BUT I'M ALMOST POSITIVE IT WILL........GOOD LUCK KOBE! | | Reply To this Message

First of all if I was a wife of a famous athlete there is no way that I wld not have been there. All the money Kobe has not like his wife has to work. Second these athletes need to make their bodyguards notary publics and then have a pre-typed sexual agreement stating the female is having sex under her own free will and not being threatened to do so and then have the women sign it before having sex. As I stated before, I feel bad for Kobe. Really I do. The man has mega bucks, now he has mega problems. What started out as a sexual encounter will before its all over , if it already hasn't, be a racial issue. When her parents found out she had sex with a black man they probably went ballistic.

| Posted by: wootng | | Natasha, how do you know it was rape? were ylou in the room? mabe thay should call you as a witness.
If you were not there you don't know for sure. I have known woman that have liked rough sex and then after the sex they felt bad and ashamed and then when there friend sees them comming out of the room the first thing they said to defend themselves is that " I was raped" or "he made me do it" instead of the truth.
not that I am saying that that is what happened.
I know women that like it rough and I know from experience that most of the time they are the same ones with emotional problems like depression, suicide attempts, on medication for mental issues, etc. sometimes they just want to be wanted buy someone importent (like an NBA star) and they let that person do what they want to them and don't say anything about what the want just to be getting attention. Then they feel used and ashammed of what hapened and blame the pearson for doing what they did. Then they tell everyone they were raped because it is easer to say "rape" than it is to say "I have seveare issues with selfworth and selfesteam and I LET someone sexualy take advantage of me". If you let someone do sometning to you, they will. and if you do not say know than they will hear yes, and that it is not rape.
She could also be doing this for the hell of it. She failed the american idol thing tried to kill herself a few times. after a suicide attempt they put you on alot of anti-depression drugs that mess with your mind. she wanted someone to pay for her problems and to finaly 'be someone'.
Or
he slapt her around, then choked, and then raped her. but I doubt that.
peaple will do what is most neccesary to them at any givin time and the simplest anwser is usualy the right anwer.
she has way more to gain from crying rape than he did in doing it
and
a guy that has everything just wants a little out of town bootie or a girl with alot of mental problems and a shady history of public failure, drugs and suicide attempts, whants some atention.
case looks pretty simple to me | | Reply To this Message

If you love for his money that won't last long because he's gonna be broke by the time his trial is over and his wife leaves him. I'm not hating, just stating, the boy made a *#@&* mistake.

These type of women (gold diggers) always make themselves available. They tactically place themselves where the athletes will be. It isnot like Kobe was out in a club and picked up a girl. She went to his room after work and it was not for tea and crumpits. | | Reply To this Message

We're talking about a world famous NBA Star against the "innocent hometown girl", Not only is it the word of a black man versus a white woman......this trial will be taking place in her own f**kin town.......where the population of black people is greatly out numbered by white people.....I'm not saying that it should turn into a race case......but it's gonna be kinda hard for it not to.......when there probably won't be more than 1 black juror......if there's even 1. These 12 people who are all gonna be from the same area and town as this chick......are gonna decide the fate of Kobe Bryant.......Things don't look good for Kobe. | | Reply To this Message

You seem to be forgetting one thing.....It is up to what the jury believes.....that's what decides his guilt or innocence. And if there are no blacks on that jury....or even a minority.....the small town surburban white people who are on that jury are only gonna be able to emotionally connect with Katelyn Faber.....I'm not saying it's right but that's the way these things go.....i'm only going on past history......this trial is in her home town.....and you think that's not gonna play a part on how these jurors view this case.....if you think it won't have any impact on their minds with how they view this case.....then nyn8tve you are very naive and I have some magic beans that you might want to buy......let me know

I'm not trying to be negative.....I'm just going on what has happened in past trials.....if both races are not represented in a jury....things are gonna go bad.....I'm not even saying that the jury should be predominantly black....because then that might screw her over.....so it should definitely be 50/50.....I'm not assuming that he's gonna get screwed only b/c he's black and she's white.....i'm also thinking he's gonna be screwed over because she's from that area.....and what are the chances that someone on that jury won't look at her and say "she's a innocent young girl, from our good town"....I wouldn't be saying any of this stuff if the trial was actually held somewhere else....that would definitely ensure a fair trial.....don't you think?

Thank you....but I do understand where you're coming from.... there are some people out there who can actually think logically and ethically and make a rational decision based on the facts presented......for kobe's sake.....let's just hope that the 12 people chosen to be jurors can do exactly that.

What will happen in the future will depend on what side can twist the truth in their favor. We know for a fact that Kobe f**ked up. I'm not hating just stating, he wanted some trim and felt it was safe, she went to his room and she felt it was safe. They both were wrong and they both will pay the price. He for his infidelity and she for her indiscretion. Neither of them will survive this this episode unscathed, and that is the sad truth.

Jay Hall is 100% right ya'll. No one really knows what happened so we'll all have to wait and see even if we have our own opinions or thoughts. The Rodney King case is a different story.....how those cops got off is unknown to me.....he was trying to get on the ground as they were beating the **** out of him.......But I'm hoping this case will go differently even if the jury is all white......for kobe's sake.

The case is being held in Colorodo because it happened in Colorado. And I think that race is going to affect the decision because it has in every case like this one. (ex. To Kill A Mocking Bird) I think that Kobe is going to get off even if he is convicted because we all know that he is going to file an appeal if he lose. | | Reply To this Message

In all actuality........you're right. This case is Colorado vs. Kobe Bryant, and Katelyn Faber is only a witness who's testifying for the state......and it's happening in Colorado because that's where this incident took place. But race will come into this case.....just like you said it would......by looking at the past with cases like these race has always made its way into the case. It's actually been reported that kobe's legal team is trying to "buy off" Katelyn Faber so that she won't testify for the state. In my opinion this is wrong......it's not an admission of guilt but it looks like you're trying to throw money at a problem to make it go away.....which doesn't look good for kobe......if he's innocent he should go to trial to prove it......but if he decides to give her $5 million to shut up........I wouldn't blame him b/c you never know how these cases are gonna turn out if you stick it out......he could get convicted.......in any event.......her own friends have called the girl crazy......so if he tried to pay her off so that she just said "i can't take this anymore" and wouldn't testify.......she'd just look as crazy as everyone already thinks she is.

I agree we are all humans.....but that's the world that we live in. Are we saying that it should come down to race.......i'm not personally.....but the truth of the matter is that race will matter in the end. But in all honesty, it's not about truth in this case..... does everyone say they want the truth.....yes......but it comes down to what the jury will believe. And if there a jury of 12 white people who hold the fate a black superstar in the palm of their hands.......i see race playing a major part in their decision. Did he screw up.......HELL YEAH!!!!! But to ensure that race has nothing to do with the decision there should be representation of every nationality. I don't like things being the way they are either nyn8tve, when it comes to racial issues b/c racisim is completely wrong....God made us all equal but men don't see it like that......but in all truthfulness life is alot harder being a young black man nowadays than it is being a young white man or woman......so when it comes to difficulty and racism.......white people don't know what the hell they are talking about (and i'm not trying to be rude at all).

| Posted by: smokymtcsw | | Are you on crack? This case is nothing like Rodney King. Kobe did it and he will go down. As far as a fair trial goes, trials always occur where the alleged crime occurred. Its very rare for their to be a removal for prejudice, but even if there were where do you want the trial? LA? Memphis? Atlanta? Detroit? I would not mind it in Boston, because the evidence is solid and all the Celtics fan could do to Kobe in the showers of the jail what he did to Faber.
By the way Rodney King cops got off because the jury had a lot of information we did not, like the earlier part of the tape that showed a strong man beating policeman after getting maced. I think that the cops should have all been convicted, but the conclusion of the jury was not as crazy as it seems. Basically King led them on a huge chase risking the lives of many, then he got out of the car and went crazy beating some cops, got maced, kept coming, cops got mad and did stuff they should not have done. The last part was the only part that was played on TV. And the much larger travesty was what occurred after the trial when bands of thugs beat people and stole from them not because of anything they had done, but because of their race. | | Reply To this Message

I think you're doing crack......Do you know what evidence they have......truthfully no you don't.....you know what people have been saying they have but you don't know for a fact what evidence is actually there. So don't just automatically say that kobe is guilty......But......you are completely right about one thing......the rioting that happened and the people that got beat down because of their race was just wrong. But let's remember it wasn't only thugs who were rioting but everyday common people......not only minorities but white people too........But even if Rodney King did do what you just said (which I don't know where the hell you got that wrong info) but let's just say that it did happen that way.......if he did start attacking cops......and they had to hit him to get him down......why did they keep hitting him once he was on the ground face down with his hands placed on the ground? Once he was on the ground and not moving he should've been put in handcuffs and placed in the back of a squadcar.....not continually hit with night sticks and kicked......But let's move to another case.....the case with Amadou Dialo......If you don't remember.......this was an unarmed man who was shot over 20 times by the NYPD.......some bullet holes were in the soles of his feet.....that means that after he hit the ground they kept on firing.....what's the deal with that......he had a wallet in his hand not a gun...... how in the hell do you mistake a wallet for a gun even if the wallet is black........Back to Kobe......I'm not saying that the trial needs to be moved.....i'm just saying that a jury made up of predominantly white members like sending kobe to his execution before the facts of the case are even brought to the light......so what I think should happen is......I think that the jury should consist of an equal spread of nationalities......so that race doesn't become a factor.......In all actuality we don't know what happened in that room between Bryant and Faber and despite all the speculation that is going on we won't find out until the case begins...... ......I just hope that kobe gets a fair trial.....because it would really suck if he was convicted but wasn't guilty........I'm not saying this because I really like him..... Because I don't..........All I'm saying is that it if I were a juror it would take alot to convince me that kobe would risk throwing his whole life.....(marriage, family, career)........ down the toilet for this chick......I just don't see it......maybe things will be clearer once the trial starts but......until then I'm gonna have to believe that kobe is innocent until proven guilty !!!!!!!

I will respond to both your posts in this one. I am not a "hater", and I do not wish I was Kobe, though having his net worth would be nice.
Bringing up the brutal killing of Amadou Diallo is exactly the kind of thing I chastised you about before in talking about Rodney King. What happened to Diallo was very very wrong and there is no other side to that story. But the fact that a black man was killed by NYC cops has nothing to with whether or not Kobe Bryant can get a fair trial. People like Al Sharpton could not continue to afford their lavish lifestyle if they did not stir up racial animus. It is a tragic affront to the legacy of Dr. King that the last people remaining who wiped his blood on their shirts go around and instead of promoting reconciliation, hold press conferences in false rape cases. Kobe's trial is becoming like that already to a pathetic extent.
The O.J. trial should have taught us all that race is not a factor in our criminal justice system. The system we have now is classist not racist. Any disparity in sentencing etc. is the result of demographics and where police are located because it is a lot easier to arrest 3 people doing drugs in the same apartment than it is to arrest 3 people spread in different trailers over a 15 mile area. For the same reason while public defenders will suck almost anywhere, they will be the worst in cities, where the dockets are crowded and their case loads are impossibly high.
The "I have a dream" speech was just commemorated in D.C. In that speech Dr. King did not say his dream was of affirmative action and racial quotas for jury pools, his dream was for a society that focuses on individuals and not on their group identity.
As far as the Rodney King information, I have seen the whole video when I was in law school taking a class that studied the case. Here is a link you may find helpful.http://www.pbs.org/newshour/authors...cannon_4-7.html
As you will see if you look at my original post, I think the police officers should have been convicted. Yet again let me point out that showing some racial injustice somewhere in no way bolsters your argument that Kobe's trial will be racist, and the fact that the last mega celebrity to get charged got off despite being guilty actually makes your point weak. Our criminal justice system responds to money not race.
Anyway my reason for thinking Kobe is lying is that he lied initially and then changed the story, and I think if he can learn from his mistake and never have another affair maybe his wife would be doing the right thing to forgive, but I think this was part of a pattern of behavior, and it is not surprising given how much the culture of NBA basketball players (of all races) use groupies for sex. He did not throw it all away for this one chick as you described doubting, he was about to have surgery, he was scared and frustrated and without his wife (why was she not there the night before he was having surgery?) and he had consensual sex with a girl who did not want to also have anal sex which Kobe forced on her despite her struggles. The reason the DA has been so confident is because of the bellboy, then the next mornings rape kit and the physical evidence which includes his fluid in both holes and tearing in the other since she had never done that before...
Kobe shocked me and disappointed me, but he will be convicted not because he is black, but because despite all his money he is guilty and the best defense in the world could not get him off. | | Reply To this Message

Ok....I understand where you are coming from but what you and nyn8tve are saying is a utopian society where race never gets included in anything which is not the way the world is today..... Granted.....I think that we all wish it was that way but it's not.... so for you two to say that race will definitely play no factor is wrong.....you both can't guarantee that........should it play a factor? Not at all.....It shouldn't be brought into it at all!!!! When it comes to the Rodney King case.....hey i'm not saying that the officers shouldn't have hit him if he was attacking them but they took it too far which i think we both agree on. The Dialo case those cops should have been convicted and put under the jail which i think we both agree on too. But I'm hoping that when you said that the last case like this involving a celebrity and them getting off even though they were guilty.....I'm really hoping that you weren't referring to the O.J. case. He was found innocent because he was innocent of murder....he didn't kill them but that does not mean that he had nothing to do with it or knew nothing about it. In my opinion he did know about it or had it arranged so that doesn't make my argument weak at all. And for you to bring Dr. King into this is great......you're correct he wished for equality of ALL people no matter what race.......but just because that's what he wanted doesn't mean that it's going to happen in our lifetime or even in our kids lifetime......but from the sounds of it we all want it to happen one day. But you can't say that there aren't some people who don't care and feel that their race is in some way superior to others......is that wrong hell yeah......but does it happen......hell yeah!!!! As far as NBA players using groupies for sex.......no doubt about it......but it's not only NBA players and it's not only black athletes (not to say that you said that because you didn't). If what you've said about the events of that night (which is still speculation because you weren't there)..... are true than yeah he's guilty but no one knows that for sure......yet, except the two that were involved....... you said that our judicial system is classist not racist, which i can agree with to an extant......but are you now saying that an example should be made out of kobe because of the "cla
