i'm going with RPGs. Now Adventure like Zelda can also be classified as an RPG...game magizines call them Adventure RPGs.
Those two Genres have been close in relation or classified as such since 1986 when i first got Zelda and then Final Fantasy shortly after.

I enjoy RPGs because of the story and the time it takes to beat them.
