I'm moving today, and don't know when I will have my system up at home. I will still be at work, but very limited use to the message board. If you need assistance with anything, please send a private message to Mike James , or go to the front page, click on forum leaders, and send a pm to one of the admins. They will also help out.

Have fun chatting and discussing HP. If you've got some new topics to throw around, please do so. I would love to see everyone giving some new ideas to our forum here.

Have a great weekend, HP'ers....

Kris

I'm excited to be here... I'll be checking in here almost constantly, so please let me know if there is any way I may be of service to you.

In your service,
Mike

Hey guys... just checking in from my mom's. Came over here for dinner tonight, so I thought that I would hop on and see how things are going.

Thanks Mike for all your assistance!!! You are a doll...

Reese, I'm moving within San Diego. We just got a bigger home, double the square footage. I'm having a blast unpacking. I was up till 12:30am unpacking, and then up before 6am starting all over again!!!!

My internet service will be up sometime on Wednesday. I will check in occasionally from work, but things are getting really hectic there, and I can't be on much!!!!

See you all soon. Have a great weekend.

Kris

Ummmmm, Nion... there won't be a dark forum!!! Sorry, but Harry's light shines bright. And, I believe that a bunch of us keep magical fires burning to always have the shadows away from us!!!!

And do you not see Harry with Godric Gryffindors sword? And Dumbledore right behind him? The darkness might be TRYING to get in... but we aren't letting it take over.

Well I designed it, so perhaps I can offer some insight....

There is dark and light, yin and yan, good and evil, in everything. Even in Harry Potter, there are obvious instances of both. Thus, both are represented in the header.

The tail represents the evil side of wizardry... the Dark Arts, epitomized by the Slytherin serpant. (yes, it is the serpent, you just can't see the head cuz it didn't look good so I took it out. ) There's your dark side.

Now for the light part: You also see Harry, holding the Gryffindor sword as Kris pointed out. Behind him is Dumbledore, "backing him up" as his guide and mentor. (Think especially of the speech he gives Harry at the end of Chamber of Secrets.) There are also two very key figures of light: the moon, which defeats the darkness of the night sky, and also the lantern. Notice especially that the lantern is hung on (*supported by*) the evil snake... hmmm... maybe that means there is good even in evil things...

All in all, though, one has only to look into Harry's eyes to find that he's not going to let any dark or evil take over the INReview HP Forum!

You should talk to my mom. She's 61 and LOVES the Harry Potter books. She just retired, and FINALLY finished the 5th book. She called me up the other night, and as soon as I answered it, she said... "SIRIUS!?" Then, she hung up! I don't think that she liked that either. But, she was happy that it wasn't one of the kids.

She came over to my new place this weekend, and while my partner and I are unpacking, do you know what she was doing? She was sitting in my comfy lazy boy, reading HP!!! Just mean.

Hey guys... the cable/internet guy will be at my house in a few hours, and then, I should have my service up to get online after work. I tell ya, getting in to work an hour early just to go through e mail, etc... isn't a lot of fun!!! I've really missed coming in here after work and talking with you guys, a lot. It's not easy to be on here during the day at work, but I try.

Get some posts going people... so I will have something to talk about tonight. I have missed you all.

And Mike James, you are a sweetheart!!! Thank you for the welcome back with balloons!!!! *hugs*

but the moon represents evil too(wrewolf and stuff..u don't do dark rituals in daylight)

That's not true. Not all witchcraft is used at night only. Look into many different religions that have wiccian, witchcraft, santanic followers/rituals.

i meant dark rituals..i know when my Dark Lord was reborn it was night

Well Nion, as I stated, not ALL dark rituals are in the evening. There are plenty that happen in the day. It's just that we associate evil and dark rituals and witchcraft with the night... because it's scary and easier to conceal.
