kobe, his lies, wedding vows, the guilt-ring, |
| Posted by: natasha2003 | | Re Kobe Bryant
Too bad Kobe’s WEDDING ring didn't mean THE SAME AMOUNT to him as his guilt-offering of 4 million dollars. Nor did his wedding VOWS mean all that much either. If he lied before God and his wife on their wedding day….WHY SHOULD WE BELIEVE HIM? He’s already told us he lies.
I don't believe how much this poor girl has to suffer coz the dog was caught doing what he shouldn’t have been doing anyway.
These over spoiled players feel they can have whatever, whomever and whenever they like it. I'm glad this girl has enough "balls" to have him charged, even tho his people will crucify her before it comes to trial. If only Kobe had the same "balls" in keepin his own balls inside his zipped-up married pants.
4 million dollar "ring of guilt" doesn't make him innocent. Just CAUGHT.
Why should we look up to a cad who wants to use young girls, and disrespect his own wife just because he is out of town and thinks he it safe to do so? Because he thinks HE should be allowed to rape and walk? I don’t think so! Best of luck to the young girl.
We would be better served to look elsewhere to find a hero, than with Kobe Bryant. Perhaps the unnamed victim is a greater hero than he could have ever been. God bless her ! She is fast becoming my own hero.
Sincerely,

Secondly, the ring was commissioned weeks before anything happened. It's unlikely it is a bribe of any sort.
Thirdly, please don't post duplicate stuff in multiple places.

It wasn't commissioned. That's a scenario his publicists conjured up because the ring purchase backfired PR-wise. (many people in the media theorized that the purchase was an action of a guilty person. "Okay let's tell 'em that it was commissioned...")

Who says it wasn't commissioned earlier? | | Reply To this Message

On the other hand, I still think (And it's no excuse to cheat, or RAPE) that it's possible their relationship was flukey. He probably cares more about her than she cares about him. He's probably desperate. When he told her that she meant so much to him during that press conference, maybe that was just him begging her to love him as much as he loves her. If that's the case, I think he cheated on her because he's frustrated, sad, maybe even angry that she doesn't care about him as much as he cares about her. How he or I would know that I don't know, it's just speculation. I've kind of been there. Never cheated though. | | Reply To this Message

AMEN!!!! He can't buy God off with a $4million dollar ring. There will be retribution.
If Kobe got married in a church (as I assume he did), then he made some vows to God. "Thou shall not commit adultery."
So, Kobe is getting what he deserves!
The female victim is getting the short end of this deal, and only because of Kobe's fame and adoration from his fans.
But, being black and famous, he is probably going to get off scott free so he can go join O.J. Simpson, who should be in prison.
There will be a Final Judgement.

You really think God is up in heaven going "He had SEX? That's it, he's going to hell FOREVER. Screw him, I got better things to do with my time than FORGIVE, I don't care how sorry that ******* is."
Well, anyway, it doesn't matter what your religion thinks about what Kobe did. Fact of the matter is that even if he cheated on his wife, that doesn't make him a rapist. | | Reply To this Message

It's a little harder with a white jury. I think they are going to try to move the trial to some place where they can get some black jurors on the jury. Not that a white jury would convict him, but there's just no way there'd be a conviction if there were blacks on the jury.

I guess you have never heard of repentance or forgiveness, or do you believe black basketball players are unredeemable?
Here are some nice biblical quotes to consider, along with "thou shalt not commit adultery"
*God is the Judge
*the keeper of the gate is the Holy One of Israel; and he employeth no servant there
*God is no respecter of persons
*Judge not, that ye be not judged
*For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again
*For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses
The moral judgment indeed is in God's hands; and the civil judgment is in the court's hands.

| Posted by: elkabong2k | | white ppl seem to seriously resent whenever somebody black is found not guilty for anything... and assume they're guilty well before they hear a verdict. It's kinda sad... and as a result black people have become galvanized into believing and at least hoping that all of these black men are innocent, simply because they see an overwhelming desire from whites to burn the accused before seeing any evidence, when in fact the truth is that some are guilty, and some are not. And the reason that people play "the race card" (a term i hate, sounds like a trial that someones life depends on is a card game) is because race is very much an issue, Eagle county PD has already shown they way they feel about minorities in that racial profiling suit. I digress, America is racist as f*** and it's never gonna change i don't know why i'm trying to make sense of it, i'm audi 5000. | | Reply To this Message
