| I am carving a figure of Dumbledore, and I would greatly appreciate any help with regards to details of his robe, boots, shirt (if any). I have viewed both movies and read all of the books thus far, and I have attempted to find pictures of Harris as Dumblore, full-length, to aid me, but I have found no full-length ones.
I have read that his boots have buckles; yet, I have not seen pictures/scenes of him, full-length--does his robe go totally to the floor? Is the robe open, or does it go over his head? If it's not open, does his belt lie hidden beneath the robe, or go around it, on the outside? Certain things about his descriptions in the books seems to contradict how he is portrayed in the movies. Also, what colors(s) should his robe be, and what designs are on it, and his hat? The books indicate it's a purple robe of some shade, with stars on it, but in the movies, it appears to be possibly reddish, or maroonish, with various arcane shapes on it.
