| I absolutely agree. I have worked in Rock and Contemporary Hit Radio in major makets throughout the US for 24 years. Harlemm Lee is fabulously unique in every aspect. He's shattererd the "pop" sterotype and he's got more to offer than just recordings for a pop audience. Harlemm will add sparkle to a Broadway stage with all that comes with a true Triple Threat. I'd love to hear him on the soundtrack to a Broadway show, as he's got an incredible voice for stage and presence too.
As I heard him sing the song Johnnie W's team created for him, I realized, though I'm not much of a pop fan, I'd probably purchase anything with Harlemm's voice on it, because I like it.
Quite frankly, I'd rather see Clive Davis sign this guy and rocket him to the top.
Johnny didn't strike me as being that much on top of it with some of his comments, and let's face it, there are more than enough Britney's around and all so boring. I can't believe that he thought Shannon Bex would win over Harlemm. She's a great dancer, but her vocals are very inconsistent. I thought Serena Henry had much stronger vocal presentations over Shannon.
Anyway, I called it from the beginning that Harlemm Lee would take it and I'm so looking forward to see what he delivers in the future! | |
