New Judges Needed

If Fame has a season 2, one of the first things that should be done is getting a new panel of judges.

JoJo's comments were worthless fanboy statements. Carnie fanned herself and talked about how hot the contestants were. Johnny is a biased opportunist who only supports people who have a certain "look."

All three of them should get the boot.

Dump Johnny! Get P.Diddy or Babyface to be a judge...

Not to sound like a broken record, but I guess I STILL don't understand what Fame is all about!

How about the judges be a mix of different types of entertainment, one representing the pop segment, one representing the broadway segment and one representing the "spokesperson" segment.

For example, a Johnny Wright-type, a Broadway talent scout and maybe someone from Wilhelmina?

Just choosing "pop icons" does not seem to address all areas of a "triple threat".

*prepares for the wall of oh no's* okay, i'm a johnny fan. he knows the biz and is respected for his knowledge. I believe FAME approached him for this spot and he thought it would be fun and a good opportunity for a pool of potentials.

I can sorta (but just sorta) see a Carnie type person doing this role, but I'm not sure I would've picked Carnie...

However, I completely cannot understand JoJo being chosen. Why would they limit it to a dj that only one side of the US coast has heard of? What "experience" does he bring to the table? I have never heard of him so I have no clue what he is about. I was hoping that his spot would be a rotating one, but alas, it wasn't to be...

Johnny should be dumped. He only knows how to judge one style of music: pop.

He has hasn't demonstrated any knowledge or background in R&B or Broadway type of music. He was biased in favor of Shannon and offered her a deal when other performers who deserved a deal didn't get one.

BoyzIIMen are R&B aren't they? Granted, most of his artist are pop (which should be good for Harlemm since that's what he wants) but he also has the hip hop going with P. Diddy already signed and Akon making his America debut. They also have a couple more hip hop artists that they have signed and are working on cutting the records.

Now, whether he is on screen judge material for prime time tv, meh, most people aren't...

And the judges should be allowed to make comments, good or bad, without the hosts jumping them for it. Comments should be consistent too. That is, all three judges need to comment and not just one or two, then change it around to where only one gets to comment.

I would also like them to tell us the ratio of votes too.
