Blair and Bush and should anyone trust them ever again?

So America and the UK have attacked Afghanistan and Iraq and it now looks like they are now starting to attack each other over the lies and deception about WMD and the reasons for the war.

It is fitting really. I cannot in my lifetime remember any governments who have shown such the utter comtempt for both the truth and public right to know the truth.

If governments can lie so blatantly about the reasons for going to war how can anyone believe them about the day to day running of a country. If either government had any respect for their own people they would resign immediately. But of course they won't. Blair is the master of denial and misdirection and he will continue to argue that black is white.

Ok people dont trust Blair anymore or his little lye maker Alister "i wont rest until I get an apology" Campbell Blair is politically f***ed all opposition and his own party members, the press and the general public have stopped with the pleasentness and come staright and said what they think he is a liar you should have seen him on PMs questions today he looked like he was going to snap at any minute and when he realised he couldnt escape the dossier issue anymore he hit back saying we went to Iraq to liberate the Iraqs, wird if you consider he alwasy said it was about WMDs most political commentators have said this has been Blairs worst week sice he camr to power in1997. From waht I heard some people in the US government are starting to ask questions now as well.
As far as blair goes he is in deep water in this country and very very few peole trust him anymore, I cant say anything about Bush as Joe said in a last thread I wasnt alowed

BLAIR BELIEVES IN EVERYTHING HE SAYS.HE SAYS THINGS WITH CONVICTION AND HONESTLY BELIEVES IN WHAT HE SAYS THEREFORE HE IS NOT A LIAR, THE ONLY TROUBLE IS A LARGE MAJORITY OF THE PUBLIC KNOWS THAT WHAT HE BELIEVES IN IS THE LIE,ITS TIME HE STOPPED PREACHING AND START LISTENING AND APPOLISE TO THE SOLDIERS FAMILIES THAT HE WAS WRONG,ITS A FAR BIGGER MAN TO ADMIT THAT HE IS WRONG THAN ONE TRYING TO JUSTIFY HE WAS WRONG BY MOVING THE GOAL POSTS.

If waht your saying is true armageddon then that would make Blair incompotent which he probably is as well.
But when Blair comes back to the UK he is in for a torrid time first youv'e got the magazine New statesman ( A pro Labour magazine) claiming Blair is a physco. The the mysterious death of the suposed mole and still thw questions over WMDs etc
As far as Im concerned he can stay in Japan and let a real politician with morales and charcter run the country.
Also have you noticed that when members of the labour party are interviewed about Iraq and WMDs they dont seem convinced in the party line about Iraq was a threat to world peace.

I am amused at those who thoughtlessly call Bush and Blair liars. Did you really expect to find illegal weapons in Iraq? do you really think that Saddam Hussein is that stupid? He knew the Americans would defeat him, so why hang around with your weapons of mass destruction for the US to find? Saddam's whole goal has been to make a fool of America in the international community, and here's his chance. He's lost his power, but he's achieved the ultimate aim.

However, consider this: Saddam's been around as leader of Iraq for a long time. You don't get to be leader of an Arab nation that long by being a fool. If he's going to go down, he's damn sure taking America with him, if he can. We already heard Colin Powell's pre-war report - Iraq was moving their illegal weapons. Do you really think Hussein is stupid enough to leave these weapons hanging around for America to confiscate in their absence?

Bush and B.liar are either liars or grossly incompotent over the WMDS which on is it going to be? remember all the UK/US claims that they knew exactly where the WMDs were and the laughable 45 minute claim. If he had them why not fire them after all by the time the troops were moving he had nothing to lose did he? and finally if he did move these weapons about Iraq, the country is the most explored area of the universe at this time and they still cant find them. So like I said B&B either lied to get what they want or they are so incompotent they get all the intelligence documents and info mixed up.

The idea that Saddam didn't use the WMD to embarrass the US certainly takes top award for nonsense. And strangley this isn't the first time someone's come up with this idea on this forum.

Imagine the Iraq military discussing that tactic, "We can't win, Saddam, but we have a plan to make the Americans look silly."
