what do u think about final fantasy

I thinking it's an amazing franchise, partly because every new final fantasy game has a completely different story, and new characters.

have u seen anything about final fantasy 7: advents children it has all the ppl from ff7 but i think it has a new world

Oveerseer i just so happen to know something 'bout that. It's going to be the second series to a Final Fantasy game. But, lately and many of my magazines and other ppl (such as sony producers themselves)have said the new FFVII will be a DVD or movie not a game. It will be a movie around two hours long and will show all of there adventures. Thats all i know about the new FFVII - 2

Has anyone played the latest Final Fantasy game...Final Fantasy X2?
If so does anyone have any good tips on how to use the special dress sphere?

ive not played ffX2 but on ten i can't get passed yunalesca, any hints yuou could lend?

Personally my favourite Final Fantasy game was Final Fantasy 8. the final fantasy games are amazing for graphics, especially the newer ones.

I loved 7. I didn't like 8. 9 was pretty good. I hated 10, but actually enjoyed 10-2 (no Tidus). Yes, Advent Children is a DVD, no idea when that's coming out, but it looks pretty cool. I saw some pics of FF12, and for a second I thought I was looking at a girl, but it was actually the lead man character. Scary.

I think Advents Children is going to be released in the summer. Also may favorite final fantasy is 7. My least favorite is 8

Well in my opinion, 10 has been the most unfinal fantasy game of the recent years. I like final fantasy because of the way the game is delivered, so to speak. I did not enjoy that there was no world map. I did not enjoy that I had really no freedom for exploration. I did not enjoy the cutscenes (yes, I'm a text box guy). I did not enjoy the sphere grid or that lame excuse for a game called blitz ball. And I most of all hated the main character Tidus. After the first fifteen minutes of the game I could not wait for that loser to shut up. The difficulty level was also a turn off. I died about three times throughout the entire game, and the second time I faced those bosses, I found them so ridiculously easy that I was ashamed of dying the first time.

It's cool if you like 10. It's fine by me, I just didn't enjoy the game. Yes, the graphics were amazing, but that's where my train stops. Sorry, don't want to start a war on this thread, just stating my opinion which is what I came here to do in the first place.

fINAL FANTASY?!?! I love that game. the coolest ever. I like 8 the best no matter what. 7, 9 and 10-2 was OK.

and I agree with Spaliznad. I10 did suck....

Thank you. Finally, someone else sees the game for what it is. Final Fantasy is cool, I'm a fan and all. But man, 10 was a let down.

I thought that ten did blow big time it was probably the worst one out of the entire saga. I hated that one very much.

10 was dissapointing... and it was a nice try to bring up it's credit with 10-2... but I for one was disapointed with that as well. I just like having more characters rather then more abilities with fewer characters.

And let us not forget Final fantasy tactics. Also an awsome game... worth playing, and they don't leave the Final Fantasy realm to far.

I liked 10-2 mainly because it was closer to the original series. That doesn't make it very close to 7 or 9, just closer than 10. And there was no Tidus, or sphere grid, or blitz ball. It was just a fun rpg that killed time until 11 came out for the ps2.

I liked 8 the best, the graphics seemed better than 9 and wasn't that far from 10, and i liked how powerful your characters can get.

I just found out that FF7: Advents Children might be coming out July 10th this year .....I hope it does to because FF7 was a the best Final Fantasy game.

Awesome. I finally found some other people on this site that know about AC. I'm completely nerding out about this one. They better stop delaying it, because I can't take it anymore. I need to see this movie.

yeah and i already found the FF7AC Trailers on a website there's 4 in the japanes site and 2 in the Japanese-english one which has captions and i downlaoded one FF7AC trailer thatwas a limited rtime only lol unless if it's still there hmmm...

Wow, it's been awhile since I've seen a post made a year and a day later as a reply. Hahaha... Nice.

Final Fantasy 7 is my favorite video game of all time. I have Advent Children. It's alright... A lot like the game. Same characters and music. They even tweaked the plot a bit to make you feel like it's a genuin addition to the game.

But I don't think it does very well alone. It needs a sequel. And it should be in the form of a game.

I will never play another final fantasy that doesn't have Materia.
