Nope. I taught flute lessons. Had to put up with kids who goofed off and didn't practice. I had to put up a Picasso print on one of my walls to get them to look at the music. The pic was too disturbing for the kids to look at I guess. Children just don't appreciate abstract art. Just glad that you are surviving. College is fun, but working and going to school is difficult.

College is kinda fun, mainly because my friends seem to have lots half of their brain cells in the transition between school and college. One morning, my buddy Mat took four sleeping pills thinking that they were paracetamol. Needless to say we had fun with him that day.

Did u see that the new book will have a first draft done in January? So, I hope the new book will be here by my birthday in July.

We just got back from seeing LotR! Great way to spend New Years Eve!!!

Oh boy... our first casuality!!! I didn't drink a drop of alcohol... had a couple cokes though!

Wow. Maja is the first. I always thought it would me Mike. I didn't have any alcohol or even any caffeine. Old and boring. Oh, and the only person up to kiss at midnight was my son and that was because some idiots were walking up and down our street banging on a pot.

Hey, Heidi was crashed out before 9pm... I had my two cats to smooch at midnight... but, they were curled up sleeping too. So, I had a "kissless" new year. Oh well... at least I was up at midnight this year... first time in 5 years!

I think I have only missed one in 10 years or so, and that was before I had kids. I fell asleep on poor Ron. He still does not let me forget that.

Oh man... Heidi and I are wimps. We usually crash out within an hour of the New Year.
But this year, I fought the sleepiness. I wasn't even tired... I was up till 4am.

I was up til about 6, then woke up at 8 for the dogs... couldn't get back to sleep

Yoyo and I went to dinner, some Japanese restaurant, kind've nice, then saw a movie with friends (LOTR, we saw the last LOTR with the same people, the same session on the same day, last year... like a ritual now)

We missed the count down... though I heard them counting down "...san, er, yi!" then fire works started, and Yoyo asked "When will they count down"... I said they already did it... she thought they were practicing... funny stuff

This is the most random off-topic question ever, but does anyone remember if a cartoon series of The Legend of Zelda was ever made? I'm too embarrassed to ask my friends (when a 17-year-old asks that kind of question, he's bound to get silly answers.) It wouldn't bug me so much if it weren't for the fact that the world seems to have forgotten about it. I've mined the entire Internet Movie Database and come out on the other side empty-handed. All I can remember from the show is the lead character (who I assume was Link) always trying but never succeeding to get a kiss from the princess, and these weird pig-troll bad guys. If nobody here's played any of the video games then this won't make a lick of sense. My apologies if I just wasted a minute of your life, but this is driving me mad.

Has anyone heard the full orchestral version of the Zelda theme? I downloaded it yesterday and I love it. It's publicised as being conducted by John Williams, which wouldn't surprise me as the use of instruments is very similiar to that which is usually associated with him.

over all an enjoyable holiday except for the fact that it rained nearly every day and when I went to Alton Towers I got sick.

My hair has gone REALLY big. I just brushed it after 2 days of having it curly. No it is as wide as my shoulders!!

Orville had a number one hit before you know. He is more aimed at children than Adults, Cuddles the monkey is aimed mor eat the Adults humour side.

He's not the only celebrity I've seen perform live however. I've seen Cannon and Ball.

The celebrities I've seen however take a back seat to those that my sisters have seen and met.

Toni, my eldest sister, has met Tom Baker, Petert Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, and a lot of former Doctor Who actors.

My next older sister has met Prince Edward, Prince Andrew and Prince Charles.

I'm the younger sibling.
