I guess on this forum you are not allowed to post anything even remotely negative regarding Harleem. I do not believe that I said anything offensive about him, besides the fact that he should not have lied! WHAT IS WRONG WITH HAVING THAT OPINION?????? I did not bash him!

I believe a few of you have some real issues you should take time to get professional help with. Perhaps chips on your shoulder? Who knows, I dont know you, you dont know me.
I can say that I am the mother of 6 children, my youngest is 7 yrs old and my oldest is 24. Sitting back and watching the change in what society is finding as acceptable is disturbing to me. I never said I didnt lie, I never said anything about him being gay. WHAT I SAID WAS I DID NOT LIKE THE FACT THAT HE LIED! AND THEN THEY REVEALED IT ON TV!
A few of you are very ignorant! Ok maybe my spelling or grammar isnt as perfect as some of you. If you are SO NON JUDGEMENTAL why would that even be an issue? I dont care if you block me, I have a life!

Peg, I'm sorry that you're so upset. I believe that people are not bashing you because you do not like Harlemm AS A PERFORMER, but that you seem to have judged him for something that the producers of the show did. Although Harlemm did perpetrate the lie, he DID NOT reveal it on national television - that was Fame the show, not Harlemm the person.

You are more than entitled to your opinion - that's what these boards should be all about. However, if you come on come on with a thick skin! Since these are not face to face conversations, where people can hear the tone of your voice or expressions, there tends to be some misinterpretations.

I understand being concerned about the welfare of your children (I have two myself). However, I do not rely on television to give them their values - that's my job. If I see or hear something on television that I disagree with, I talk to my kids about it. I'm sure that you have given all of your children a sturdy, moral upbringing and that Harlemm Lee and Fame will not change that.

Keep a stiff upper lip!

This is just a site - regardless of what we all say here, whether you like Harlemm or not or anyone else, they are all opinions and would not make any ultimate life changing event.

You may like apples, others may like oranges, who cares! That's the beauty of options and diversity.
