Sorry but Ruben really didnt deserve ta win n he wouldnt have if Clay's phone lines didnt get all jammed up isnt it kinda ***ed up that Rubens mom got in 103 votes 4 Ruben n i got in 1 for clay yea Half of Clays votes wernt counted cuz da phone likes ***ed up what a Crock!!!! i just think that if Clay's phone lines were jammed, that should mean that it was busy because of too many votes, which obviously means Clay should've won, especially if Ruben's lines were always available. i think that Clay DID win, especially since he's more successful now. Ruben's good, but i just think he's 2nd best to Clay.

I never said I was a Ruben hater I'm just a Clay lover. Yea Ruben won but it isnt "plain or simple." To many things to think about that could have gone wrong!

I am happy for Clay and believe me a I am enjoying him every minute I can get. AI is just a title and it doesnt matter but I still feel CLay deserved it more. I'm happy that they are both donig great and I wish them BOTH the best of luck!

Clay IS better! i hate it how ppl always say that clay should go to theater or broadway. there is no "broadway" voice. Clay has a good voice though, and nowadays it's the more "marketable" ppl that are always becoming stars rather than the ppl with naturally good talent like Clay. all they do is take somebody that's pretty, have them sing, and mess with their voices on computers and all this crap. But Clay has a good voice and it CERTAINLY doesn't need messing around with, so why should he go to theater!?!?!

I am happy for Clay and every moment that I get to see him and I have nothing against Ruben all that I have to say is that if the phone lines were not jammed then Clay would have won but I think that he has come out better from it

Its all a matter of opinion... people sometimes like different things. I personally like Clay better, but other people like Ruben better. Not that I don't like Rubens voice, cause I do love it, just not as much as Clays.... There, I said my opinion in the nicest way I knew how.

I think Clay should of won but I think Ruben had to win to get a CD deal...Simon was going to give clay one no matter what..so it didn't matter if he won or lost....

Yeah Ruben probably wouldn't have gotten a record deal if he wouldn't have won, if he would have gotten like 4, he would be out cold probably without any record deals, sorry to say that, but I'm pretty sure that it is true.

I don't know if it's any different there than it was here, but I don't think that they have to give the winner a record deal. The prize on offer is a "chance" to win a million dollar recording contract.

you know, Justin's cd just failed, because barely anyone knew it came out, i dont think it was getting much promotion either...cause i never knew there was a Justin Guarini 2yrs, ago, i thought there was just a kelly....i'm sure you get signed with BMG, or something, and BTW Ruben deserved his win of AI2.
