i'm so surprised that this kid made it this far... it shows me that people actually vote for looks rather than talent... i know he's the only rapper on the show but he isn't even decent... first of all he has no flow... second, his lyrics are horrible... i remember him saying somethin about tony the tiger cuz he's great or something like that and something about an energizer bunny... wtf is he trying to prove... is he rapping for little kids who's just starting to read dr. seuss books??... he thinks he's hardcore because his crew is on the show supportin him... just ridiculous... everytime he performs, i feel embarrassed for myself just watchin him... i'm pretty sure this kid can't even perform a freestyle battle... cuz almost every rapper knows how to do that... i'm a true hip hop fan, and rapping is all about flow and creative wordplay with the lyrics... i mean i could just sit down for 5 minutes and write better lyrics than him... if he wants recognition, he should go to a mc battle or something like that... not fame

I agree, he can't rap, dance or sing. Isn't he suppose to be a triple threat? He is a disgrace to music!

You're both preaching to the choir here on this forum. Most of us feel the same way. The question is, why do the judges encourage him instead of tell him the truth?

They don't even point out the lack of flow in his style.

It appears to me the judges don't want to be tough on the contestants in an effort to bring out the best in them, but instead, it's more like, oh everyone let's just be friends! The world is full of roses and fresh brewed coffee!

If they really want Justin to succeed, they should be telling him to get his act together and work harder on his performance. I don't believe this contest is suited for rapping at all.

Hey! Let's get Promo Mack to host a rapping contest. He can get Arsenio Hall from Star Search to host it. It could be a two-fold production. 1. Rapping 2. Hip Hop dancers to compliment the rapper. We can select 11 rappers and one pop singer (that can't rhyme, dance or flow), as contestants.

Jenny Jones had a show on last week called "battle of the rappers". Rappers would showdown against one another and improvise on the spot. The show was amazingly entertaining especially when this tough as nails lady thug was dissing a white rapper in the showdown - 'you can have me boy - but only if your ready - so pull it out , that thin piece of spaghetti'.

I agree with all of you, I hate the fact that Justin is still in the competition, and some of the great singers aren't. Example, Ryan, Michelle, Christine, and Alexis are all good singers, but they didn't even make it to the finals. That still annoys the heck out of me.

Jacoby_fame, will you just grow up? You sound like a little girl who got upset because she didn't get her Barbie doll. So your bud didn't win, it's called life. Instead of saying "HE SHOULD HAVE WON!!!111" why not, "Whatever happens, I'll support him." A friend shouldn't be resentful, they should be supportive. A lot of us here said that this just wasn't Justin's competition, it wasn't his place. So, you should be a good friend and be by his side when he DOES find his place, instead of crying and being weak as if you lost yourself.

i think u gotta brain that's a size of that of a bird's... first of all, life is definately not just about receiving compliments... it's about receivin criticism too... and that's wut we're doin... givin criticism... i do give him madd props for performin on stage on television... but he just doesn't belong on that particular show... and he's definately not great... maybe decent... and i know u could point out that he lacks flow... it doesnt take a rap star or a genius to find that out... and anyways the three judges were too nice and giving too much credit for these performers who in reality sucks... and they should've been more harsh on justin and some of the other performers... maybe that could've made him work the hardest and ultimately get better and better... he made it that far because little girls who don't know anything about rap voted for him... and u know how music is now... its mostly about looks... wut i think of him is this... personally i think he's just too full of himself, he lacks flow, his lyrics are weak, he dresses like a pop star for a person who raps, he goes off beat, and he definately should not of been on the top wutever... and if he can't take these criticisms then he should just go home and lock himself inside his room cuz it would mean that he doesn't know how to deal wit people............. dam my fingers are tired...
